- Welcome back to another polymer clay tutorial! Today we are going to make the entire map of Inkwell Isle from Cuphead!
With the new DLC Island coming out in Cuphead, it inspired me to make the entire map from the first game. Would you like to see the DLC Island created with clay? Maybe some of the bosses? Let me know what you think!
Cuphead has been a favorite game of mine for a very long time now. We have a very strong love/hate relationship, but I always come back for more!
This has been an amazing dream come true, being able to create this map. I can't wait to show you what other videos I have planned for the future!

Its a great game, despite some of the bosses being way too difficult for their own right

Woah, wow, what an undertaking! The sheer amount of effort and care that you put into your designs is so impressive, and seeing the process laid out step-by-step really drives home all the planning and preparation that goes into them.
Your mention of the world map's topography being a parallel to the difficulty of its bosses (and by extension, the difficulty in building up these areas with clay) was a very intriguing point! But the overall landscape looks all the better for it!
I'm always in awe of your detail work, and how you're able to create a variety of textured and surface features using different tools. You make it look relatively easy, with the zoomed-in footage, but the actual scale at which you're working is really precise! Thanks for always showing the process up-close, and for always being transparent about things that may have given you more trouble than most other artists would be willing to admit. It's really refreshing to see and hear!
Although I've not played Cuphead, I've seen enough playthroughs of it to know that it's quite the challenge! But I enjoyed learning about the game through your informative commentary, and it really makes the video even more engaging. Excellent work, as always, Kero! 🌟
The funny thing is, I never plan haha. I always just go on a whim until I get to the point of "now how could I possibly make this part". Maybe it's not the most effective, but it's all I have. 😅

Another amazing creation! I really enjoyed watching this map come together and all the tiny details with it. Also an idea for a future clay creation would be the map of the sinnoh Pokémon region would look cool. Keep up the good work.

Another masterpiece! These more detailed maps are turning out great, I especially love the variety of environments on this one. Haven't played Cuphead myself. The Artstyle of the game looks really cool, but you make the game sound agonizing haha

@@Kerobyxclay I have never worked with polymer clay or anything similar but in the last few days I cannot stop thinking about your awesome project and how much I want to try this for myself. I will go buy some clay in the weekend and try to create the first isle (since it's the easiest). It will probably be a big mess for a first time but I hope I get to make something at least a bit similar to you. Thank you so much for inspiring me to try something so foreign to me!

I just came across your channel and instantly subscribed. This is masterful work, my friend. The Studio MDHR team should see this. They certainly know the struggle of crafting every little piece and detail in their game by hand, and yet the fact that their animation team actually raised their standards in the DLC is testament to their dedication throughout all the delays. All in all, totally worth the wait and it's not even that pricey.

I use fimo soft clay. And it just comes down to practice, I've been doing it for a few years now!

Really great vid! gaming confession, I never got past the first isle, but I like the rainbow bridges and the pirate ship pier, the pyrimid looks like candy and the tree method is still genius.
