      Good day Risvel,
      The expression (48-6w)/8 can be written as the difference of two fractions 48/8 - 6w/8. Each of those fractions can be reduced: 48/8 = 6 and 6w/8 = 3w/4 or 3/4 * w So, (48-6w)/8 = 6 - 3/4 * w.
