Why is j missing
Thank you! I found your video after scrolling the TH-cam for more than 2 hours and it finally helped me to understand how the rotors work!
Lots of Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Nicholas Cage fans here.
This is very helpful in family clashes 😂😂😂
But I have a problem, what if my sentence is something like *the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog*?
Meet meat noon lol
Art school made me hate the golden rectangle but thank you so much for this tutorial
thank you very much sir.
Nice! But You really don't have to talk too much!
I checked and this only works with the original Pringles can which was 75mm (2 & 15/16ths of an inch) in diameter. Current Pringles cans are only 68mm (or 2 & 11/16ths of an inch) in diameter. So if you want this to work with the file as shown, you absolutely must get a tube which is the correct size, since the smaller Pringles can won't work with this. EDIT To update (two weeks later): I have found that printing the original file at 57% seems to produce a printout sized appropriately for the smaller Pringles can.
What if there is an alone x at the end? I'm trying to encode "Orange Box" But have a leftover x at the end.
Decoding this would yield “ORANGEBOXX” which is still understandably “Orange Box.” The lone ‘x’ changes nothing.
@@terrydarhk Thanks!
@@SomeBrainiacRBLX 😁
Love it! I wanter somthing like this. Thanks!
oops wanted
Very very interesting. I plan on making this.
Pretty sure this is a bit wrong but it just may be another version of the playfair cipher, however the way i learned is that you divide balloon into ba lx lo on not replacing letters just adding an x
This is a fun game.
06-05-2024. I discovered that each rotor repeats itself. Top part then again bottom part.
thank you
Now add the plug board
what if the rotor strip finsihes if you have a long sentence
You are a phenomenal teacher
Great to find this tutorial. Also, the comedic level of you recommending sharpening pencils with a penknife, whilst having sticking plasters on two fingers was not lost on me. 😅
My new favorite cipher.
Mister Rogers and Bob Ross are saving a seat for you in Heaven.
The Playfair cipher is one of the easiest to break.
I tried it with a.i., failed miserably, even after hints, then when I told it the method, the words came out, but still not correct. so seems pretty decent even for todays standards. better than substitution
Meet Meat Noon
No J😊
I like it how you put a pencil right there, right there.
Why not skip e?
Please help me understand why You missed out your Alphabet letter after I we have J not K
I don't get it. How do you encode "JEWISH JACKASS"?
💜
How did the Germans keep the keys coded?
Me encanto tu vídeo y eso que mi ingles no es muy bieno.
In your first click on h when you rotate the first rotor every 3 rotors rotate😂 It was called double stepping of middle rotor
Love the video but the sharpy sound is legit killing me 😢
👍
I saw this video and just had to give it a try! On PringlesEnigma M3 now, having realized that it has to be an actual Pringles can (imitations are too short!) Paper doesn't work, it needs to be card (I stuck mine to card) and you really do need it to be in colour because following grey 'wires' around the tin is not that easy😂 Also discovered that some finesse is needed with turning the wheels, inevitably when moving one the adjacent one would slip slightly, leaving some doubt which line it connected to, and this was also the case when reading the text through the encipherment. Yes it was not too tricky to guess the crib was going to be Enigma 😂 but still exciting to work through the process and get the letters out putting at the end. How the code breakers at Bletchley Park felt when they did it for real, I can only imagine, but what a great project this is, thank you ❤
You can also laminate the paper before cutting out, then use tape to secure the laminated paper. That also means you can unfasten the tape to change rotors. The biggest problem now is finding the right size can now that Pringles uses a 68mm diameter can instead of the old 75mm can.
Is it possible to get a copy of this?
Ew!
Gee fucking willickers
What if you had a word with a j? Would u put for e.g. x?
Sir can you explain to me , how did you take z/10 and w/6 ???
