You can practice with my free techno kit on Patreon(there is a post linking to a free download) Practice making patterns and chaining them together Sample tons of extra sounds (its a small kit for this very reason) add irl samples with the KO mic or add your own synths. Take your KO with you instead of your phone when going out, force yourself to kill time by working on a beat. When you have a beat, record it, DON'T RELEASE IT, listen to it on another day and you'll see what sounds worked and what needs fixing. It can take a month/week/days/even a couple hours to make a dope track if youre lucky! Just keep experimenting until you find a pattern/groove that makes you go "holy shit", when that happens, ROLL WITH IT, and you will wind up with a track thats actually worth a listen.
