For country road left turn with special (extra ) lane for turning ,were should I start reducing my speed? the extra lane will be very short so If I kept my speed I have to brake hard (But I know how to stop the car) and If I reduced my speed before it I will make obstacle for cars behind me (it is 100 kph road ). what is your advice?

On country roads, when we perform left turn, it is recommended to gently tap the brake few times much ahead of turn so that that cars behind see the brake light and understand that you are planning for a turn ahead and they slow down accordingly. If you do this, you wouldn’t be causing obstruction as they are already prepared. A hard braking is a big no no especially on main lane.
But in your case, since there is a separate lane for left turning, even then I wouldn’t be hard braking because, if my car is at high speed before hard braking, the oncoming vehicles might misunderstand my intentions and might hard brake assuming that i am not giving way to them which could end up in a risky situation for them.
So, what I would do is
      1. Tap the brake gently well in advance
      2. Start slowing down gradually
      3. Position my car closer to the center line(i.e showing my intention for left turn)
      4. Left indicate
      5. Enter the extra lane and slow down furthur to make sure that i am communicating clearly that i am giving way for oncoming vehicles(if there are any)
      6. Then stop down if needed, since its an extra lane and wouldn’t obstruct the vehicles behind me.
      7. Then find a gap in oncoming traffic and then take the turn.
A hard braking is a big no even on an extra lane, its very important to clearly communicate your intentions with speed, positioning and using indicators and brake lights.

      Hi,
Usually it wont to asked to make a U-turn on a country road with atleast 70kmph speed but if have to do, then better option is to take a right turn and find an appropriate road to make u-turn and then join back the country road by making a left turn
