The smell of old books is called bibliosmia. My great grandparents left a pile of old books in the attic of our farmhouse. Reading them was a sensory experience. The old book smell really takes me back.

The creaky old oak floors from the 1800s were replaced with blue carpeting 🤮 and the original oak walls adorned with hand carvings were removed in place of drywall 😡This should be criminal 😈

I am an avid reader from way back. There is nothing like the smell of old books. I immediately relax and immerse myself in the satisfying feeling of browsing through the aisles and peeking into the treasures in the glass cabinets.
I actually have a perfume by replica called Whispers in the library. It's meant to replicate what old books and a bookstore smell like, it's lovely. It has a vanilla undertone, I always get compliments when I wear it

Then a man at a desk w stacks of books around him, you can barely see him. He knew where I find true crime books that had stories that happen there. I loved it and the smell. I love books!! All old book stores are disappearing 😢 I like old educational books also.

OMG Dr. Dray the same thing happened to me with Cosrx C23 bottle. The dropper wasn’t getting any liquid I ended up using the bottle by pouring some into my hands for the remainder of the serum.

I hate the droppers. I always remove them and the plastic round thing in the middle. To apply the product I put my finger over the hole on the bottle and apply the product to my face. I can apply it evenly this way and not waste a drop.

Tried to find a candle replicating it and i cant :(, (before anyone suggests bibliotheque it doesn't do it for me lol), although there is a US brand called dio candles that replicates scents and supposedly they have some really good book and magazine scented candles lol. Funnily enough i was thinking of books earlier I was thinking of reading the stand by stephen king today, was enjoying the old miniseries and wonder what the book is like :). She told me to put around my eyes since the first time. Not on my eyelid, but everywhere else. ps. I still just have a couch in my living room, etc. I only want to buy furniture when I have that "I've got to have it" feeling...

I have been watching you for about four years, and I learn so much from you. I have used the Origins Vita Zing tinted moisturizer with SPF 40 for about 15 years. It is a universal tint and gives decent coverage. What I recently learned is that the main sunscreen is Octinoxate. I called the company about it, but I got no response. Should I find something else to use? I do not wear foundation, and I have struggled to find another product that has a high SPF and does not feel like makeup. I use quite a bit to get the SPF coverage. I’m just not sure it’s safe. Congratulations on your new home!!
