Sabine cutting her hair was a definite negative point for me. I hated her short look in the Rebels epilogue and had high hopes that her longer hair from the Teaser was indicative of some time passed & character growth past that point in time... but it played out opposite of what I would have wanted. The long hair does indicate these points, but moreso as her straying from her path and the cutting of her hair puts her back on the right path.
Well I suppose I it just comes mainly down to a difference of opinion on looks. Long hair just doesn't look good on Sabine imo, and besides her pixie cut isn't quite as short as it was in the epilogue anyway. Personally I've always found shorter, or at least tied up hair more attractive on a girl anyway.
@@Nandrall18-25 You're right, it's highly subjective. I thought Sabine with the long hair looked amazing, considering she's never had long hair during Rebels. Don’t forget that some of the Purgill (space whales) in Rebels (especially the finale) were nearly the size of Star Destroyers, and they took many of those out of commission before hyperspacing away with the one in their tendrils.
I don't think at this current point in the timeline that people know about Vader's identity. If I remember correctly, that information becomes public closer to the time of Force Awakens.
I love how ahsoka refers to herself and Sabine in a master/student relationship like her own with Anakin followed by Sabine straight out calling Ahsoka her master but they only react to Sabine bringing out the lightsaber =)
It does makes some sense what you guys are saying that maybe Ahsoka got scared about wanting to complete Sabine's training. But, it may be more that Ahsoka may blame herself for Ezra's disappearance somehow and feels she failed to protect him and Kanan and that is why she may have pushed Sabine away. Also, Kanan felt inadequate about training Ezra since he never really completed his training either, but both force ghost Yoda and Ahsoka kept encouraging Kanan to trust himself do it anyway. Ahsoka did also act like a mentor to both Kanan and Ezra in Rebels, especially Ezra. Also, Ahsoka made many attachments during her Padawan years to not only Anakin, but many others too, including the Clone Troopers, Padme, Lux Bonteri, etc. and it did not hurt her, but she found it a strength. I think Ahsoka did complete all her training and I vaguely remember even Anakin himself told her there is nothing more he can teach her. I do not think walking away from the Jedi Order does not mean she is not a Jedi. If anything, it made her an even better Jedi because the Jedi Council lost their way. She may have relinquished her official title of "Jedi", but she epitomizes all the greatness of a Jedi and what they should represent. I may have mentioned this before, but I personally never liked the reason Ahsoka gave Mando on why she did not want to train Grogu. I had no problem with her refusal to train him, but just the reasons she gave for not wanting to do it. I think Ahsoka, of all people, would and should know the whole "no attachments" idea is just a bunch of bologna and what led Anakin to the dark side was not his attachments, but if anything, the Jedi Council did more to push him to the dark side bit-by-bit than Palpatine ever did. If anything, it was Anakin's lack of attachments or rather, forbidden attachments, that also helped push him to the dark side.
There are questions about the color of the lightsaber that Ray Stevenson (and that apprentice?) is wielding. It's NOT a RED saber, apparently it's a BLOOD ORANGE saber (it's kind of orange, but kind of red), if that's the case then he's probably NOT a SITH, because saber colors represent who you are. So the question then is.. WHO ARE THEY REALLY? Fallen Jedi?

This will probably be my first time watching anything Rebels.
Guess you guys forgot Ezra left his saber with Sabine under the conditions of his surrender to Thrawn's Chimera ISD. She's using his saber. Ahsoka's just playing the melodramatic card, Anakin taught her way better than most master/padawan relationships. And she was "officially" a jedi knight after the Barriss incident, but she rejected the title and left the order. And let's not forget Anakin drilled her in that episode of TotJ I think, where she trained against the 501st forever and ultimately helped her survive 66... and she fought Maul a number of times, Vader, and escaped Palps. Plus she's the embodiment of the Mortis Daughter ffs. And she's been in TWBW. She is totally pulling some "I am not worthy" bullshit. There is literally noone that we know of who are alive in this time period that are more qualified than she is to be THE jedi.
Luke Skywalker is most definitely around at this point, but he would be relatively early in his own Jedi Journey, so yeah I would give the nod to Ahsoka at this point.
@@Jiibay7796 Obviously Luke is around, but my comment was centered around Ahsoka's resume so to speak. Luke's resume right now isn't nearly as robust to be considered the most knowledgeable or the quintessential "Jedi" of the time period, which you do agree with.
“Your eyes can deceive you, don’t trust them.” That quote can apply to your ears as well; don’t forget that this is a Trailer, with scenes and lines and edits out of context, so don’t take everything you see and hear within it so literally.
I'm optimistic about this show. Ahsoka, Sabine and Hera, my three favourite Star Wars gals together again. Funny thing, I wasn't keen on Sabine's hair in the final scene of Rebels, but on Natasha Bordizzo it looks good! It'll be great to see Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn.
How could you possibly know if there was any influence or input from KK or not? Where you involved in the production process? Or is this more of the "if I hate something I will blame KK for it, and if I like something then I will just claim she had nothing to do with it" mindset? Some Star wars fans are so juvenile in their thinking
@@enadegheeghaghe6369 Jon Favreau has publicly spoke about this and you have to do is read and listen to those who would know. KK made t-shirts that said "The Force is Female" and Steven Spielberg called her a bad executive secretary who could not take good notes. BTW have you seen what Indy 5 is doing in the box office. Also Spielberg walked away from this movie when he saw what KK wanted to do with the movie.
I refuse to participate in all the speculation, nor have my own specific expectations for this show (nor any show for that matter); I find those a pointless waste of time & energy. I leave it to the people who made the show to tell the story THEY want to tell, and once I watch actual episodes I’ll be able to determine whether it was done to my liking; this approach worked well for me when it came to Andor. The Ahsoka trailer looks good, has my interest piqued, and I loved Rebels, so looking forward to seeing what this brings to the table.
