These two are actually one and the same, and in this story explained video for FNAF Security Breach we trace Vanessa's origins and how she gained such a creepy and seemingly evil alter-ego.

Just wanted to pin this comment as I see some people are confused about the 'fire' ending - where we see Vanny die, while Vanessa remains on the roof of the Pizzaplex. I already explained this ending in my story explained video for Security Breach but for those who missed it - given all the other evidence in the game suggesting Vanessa and Vanny are the same person, I think we can safely conclude that ending is symbolic. It represents how Vanessa's soul was never set free from Glitchtrap's control and so she remains tied to him in the pizza plex. It's just showing that she was never saved.
I also want to add that this is my interpretation after looking at all the evidence and coming to conclusions after careful consideration. But FNAF is full of lore that has never been solved and fans interpret in different ways. So I think if you're watching this video, just enjoy it for what it is. A theory I wrote based on the evidence and how it makes sense in my mind. If you have a different opinion, I don't want to say you're wrong. We just disagree. That's fine - go with whatever makes the most sense to you :)

Fun Theory: The correlation that Afton used his own family tragedy as a basis for Vanny's fake backstory is probably enforced by Vanessa's appearance. She is a blonde with lime green eyes. Perhaps a nostalgic Afton wanted to remember his daughter once again through Vanessa and projected his story onto Vanny by instinct because he was reminded of Elizabeth through Vanessa
Unless Vanny IS Baby/Lizzy. Maybe it's a Freddy Kruger parallel. Vanessa and Elizabeth could be twins, Vanessa being put up for adoption. Meaning the childhood memories are Elizabeth's.
@@ravyndeahl2979 That would be a nice explanation for it, but we can debunk it with that one room in security breach. It's in the garbage area with the withered security bots. There was a set up of 5 bots around the table. Each one represents 1 family member from the afton family. It wouldn't make sense if all of a sudden there would be an additional member to the family.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who saw the Vanessa’s fake family history and Williams own family connections. As soon as I heard the take where the therapist called out Vanessa for the lie my mind immediately thought “wait is he using crying child or Elizabeth’s story” because surely the fact that one is completely oblivious to everything and one is aware of everything. I get the impression that CC was the child used in the custody
also honestly as they the therapists also talked about it and the whole thing about how it's michelas family made me think of that one room in security breach where we see a family probably respresenting William aftons family and so on

I just came up with this today: What if the story Vanny gave was William's? A young William Afton was used in a custody battle between his mother and father, William Afton Sr. a.k.a Bill Afton. William's father didn't like or want kids but didn't like the idea that his wife gets his son, so he uses William as a show of power.

The idea that Afton made Vanessa lie about her family in order to undermine her therapy is brilliant, way better than the cringe theory that Afton reprogrammed her into a version of Elizabeth.

I've been just reading through a lot of this comment section and there are a lot of people who believe Vanessa actually IS Elizabeth. Which I find to be a very stupid theory but whatever.

Using my knowledge of computers as someone in IT, I can add an oft overlooked piece to this puzzle. The crash and reboot of Freddy Fazbear in Safe Mode. Safe Mode is something all modern operating systems have - a diagnostic tool where the system can be booted up with all nonessential parts disabled. This is useful in troubleshooting technical problems with hardware, software and malware, as less things are left running to cause problems. The most relevant part here is the effects safe mode can have on malware. Malware usually operates by either infecting existing software/data (ei a virus), disguising itself as a useful app (a trojan horse) or as a part of the operating system (a rootkit). There are other forms of malware such as adware, spyware, hijackers, and so on, but those are not really relevant to this scenario.
Some form or combination of rootkits, trojans and/or viruses were doubtless infecting all the animatronics, computers and staff bots, which is how Vanny was able to hijack them to be under her control, and also make them hostile to others (except herself) at a command. She could disable the malware by day, so they'd all behave normally when the guests and day staff were around, and be Vanny's tools by night, when only a few security guards were around, which she could probably manipulate or at least more easily hide from. Her meddling didn't work perfectly, as each of the animatronics started displaying more and more odd behaviours.
Chica got an increasingly out of control pizza addiction. Roxy developed bipolar, manic-depressive and narcissistic behaviour. Monty developed an out of control rage, leading to him destroying things both in his backstage room and around the pizza plex when allowed to wander. Freddy seemed to get an uncontrollable urge to dance whenever in a performance area with music playing.
However, in safe mode, because of the reduced functionality, many types of malware can't run in safe mode. This is why, if you've ever gotten advice on removing malware from your computer from an online guide or an expert, booting in safe mode is one of the things they'll always recommend as part of the process. There's more of a chance to fully find and remove them when they're inactive.
So when Freddy crashes during the performance and has to reboot (apparently automatically into a diagnostic "safe mode", most, if not all of Vanny's malware was not able to work on Freddy. Presumably, if any of the other animatronics had similarly crashed and rebooted into safe mode, they'd have also reverted to their official personalities and been potentially willing and able to help Gregory too. However it was Freddy who was the lucky one to have a malfunction that turned out to be a happy accident that left him free of Vanny's meddling, freeing him up to help Gregory.
This Safe Mode reboot is really a huge part of the story as Gregory would not have been able to survive if Freddy had also been after him.
There is a case to be made that had any of the other 4 main animatronics been the one to crash and reboot into safe mode, they'd have been the one helping Gregory and befriending him in Freddy's place. Each would have contributed their own unique abilities to Gregory's attempts to survive the night and unravel Vanny's plans. Each would have had their weaknesses that would make the path (s)he and Gregory would have needed to navigate to each ending very different. But each would give Gregory a fighting chance, in their own way. Chica could help by using her voice to stun nearby animatronics, and bots, Roxy could guide Gregory to useful items and warn of danger with her vision, or carry him away from danger with her speed. Monty could smash through barriers with his claws, or even use them to defend Gregory from danger when threatened.

I did not know that roxy's behaviour was bc of vanny.i just assumed it was bc of her realizing that she was a replacement for foxy and not being able to live upto expectations, telling herself that she was amazing and letting her behaviour out on gregory.
Good idea for a DLC that lets you go through the game with different animatronics
I don't entirely agree that Roxy's insecurity/overcompensation by acting tough and mean were all caused by Vanny. She is depicted as being short tempered and deathly afraid of losing before as well (cartoon of her in Monty Golf shows her furiously breaking a golf club in half, and in describing Roxy's Raceway she ends it by saying "nobody likes a loser").
I don't think the story about Vanessa's home life is an alibi. It's her trying to tell the therapist what is happening in code so Glitchtrap doesn't realize (or she is subconsciously confessing to the therapist). Glitchtrap is forcing Vanessa to "testify" to the therapist with lies and is mentally abusing her. That makes the coincidence that she says her dad's name is Bill and Glitchtrap's name being William make more sense as well.
I also think that story wasn't her backstory but William Afton's. Remember FNAF 6 with the orange man and the old woman telling him to 'leave him alone'? What if Glitchtrap was manipulating Vannessa's memories of her parents into a copy of his where it wasn't her father that told her to testify against her mother but his as a way to cover his tracks.

I have the feeling that Vanessa doesnt know about her alter ego "Vanny". In the trailers it sounded like she wanted to help you escape.
Consider this: Afton is in the beta for Help Wanted. There were probably other beta testers, maybe some who got controlled by Afton. And if Fazbear released the game worldwide without truly fixing the glitch, then Aftom has multiple entry points of escape.
Afton is now a digital demon that truly be killed and something drastic will have to be done to end it.
If only 'The One You Should Not Have Killed' had left Afton go, he wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to escape.
And Michael and Henry died for nothing since Afton's back and failing to free the souls of his past victim's, resulting in The Blob(containing mutiple souls due to being made from multiple past animatronics).
I assume that the animatronics Michael and Henry burned actually decided to stay rather than escape. Probably Afton was supposed to be trapped inside The Blob while the souls of innocents were using The Blob as his eternal purgatory (note: UCN). So yeah, the remaining animatronics are actually decided to stay by choices to torture Afton even more
@@laudadraka259 Not necessarily, as UCN explicitly shows us that the 'One You Should Not Have Killed' is the one in control. Even Old Man Concequences tells them to stop and rest their own soul.
I believe the child doing this is the child possessing Golden Freddy, the only animatronic that hasn't been found yet as shown by the secret ending in UCN, shivering in the dark.
Their soul cannot rest and will drag everyone down with them.

I think it's possible that a majority of William's soul went to hell and is being tortured by Golden Freddy for his crimes. The William we experience in Help Wanted and Security Breach is just a remnant that was stuck to the Springtrap circuits.
The story will end when afton will really die, and i think it will be the ruin dlc.

You are the first youtuber I’ve seen that interprets the Princess Quest ending as Vanessa and Gregory possibly living together alongside Freddy. It’s honestly a very sweet idea for an ending and puts a large smile on my face.
Also, if it’s implied that William Afton is finally gone, where does the franchise go? I imagine Gregory and Freddy (and maybe Vanessa) are going to work together to shut down/destroy the entire Freddy Fazbear Franchise to finally end this cycle of child disappearances and murders.

My interpretation is that the Princess Quest games were Vanessa’s prison; not glitchtrap’s source. The franchise will probably go on the hunt for glitchtrap’s source in the next games.

I would imagine that, after living so long as a digital consciousness, Afton may have found a way to "copy" himself. Even if that's too far fetched for this series (I admit it would make Afton wayyy OP, especially if he copied himself to the Internet), we know that individual endo parts can contain pieces of "souls" that can corrupt and take over human hosts, so unless literally every part of the Burntrap endo was thoroughly and completely destroyed, there's always a chance that enough of Afton could survive in a single chip to start the whole thing over again.

Given the the events of the game, Gregory was already suspicious of Vanessa. Furthermore, he discovered Vanny's hideout and Freddy said, that the name sounds like Bunny and Vanessa combined. This in turn, would give Gregory enough suspicion to already think that Vanessa is Vanny. But instead of Gregory saying "Aha, I knew it!" or something similar he only has questionmarks behind him, suggesting confusion.
In addition to that Vanny is played not by the same voice actress who voiced Vanessa, but the instead is voiced by the same person who did Gregory ( and Chica I believe ). I'm not here to say that Vanny is Gregory, that'd be silly. No, what I want to suggest is that it's a rather odd detail that Vanny isn't voiced by the same person. The community has already cracked some incredibly difficult things laid out by Scott and I don't think he would make such an obvious twist without some catch to it. And trying to conceal Vanny's identity by giving her a different voice. I feel like whoever made that executive decision had a reason behind that.
Now I want to ask the question I want to ask then is this: why would Gregory be confused? Why have Vanny be voiced by somebody else, in a franchise that had different shades of yellow for text to give the impression that it was said by a different person.
Maybe I've got it all wrong but I feel as if not all the pieces fit together, however it's equally weird if it was indeed a person who looked just like Vanessa.
I hope we get some sort of DLC for SB to give us more clues. The game overall felt a little empty. I really hope that this wasn't it and we move on with a new game. The pizzaplex is so cool and it has so much more potential!
Plus the Vanny voice is distorted, so why not just use the same voice actor? It's obvious they want us to think that they're the same person, otherwise it's there's not a twist, in fact there's no real twist what so ever in the main plot. Afton always comes back so no surprise there, most believe Vanessa is Vanny, again if it turns out to be true then no surprise there either. We are lead to believe it's true but never given 100% proof. Gregory might be a bot, good twist there. You don't see that coming unless you read the books, GR Freddy might have Michael Aftons soul, another good twist but there's no proof of this so far
It's actually very common in animation for a different voice actor to play the same character when disguising their identity. For example, in Wander Over Yonder show the main villain is Lord Dominator. This character has a different voice actor when they're wearing their armour, disguising their identity. I don't think the separate va is that suspicious
@@CosyBee this franchise is different though. Fnaf has always had a reputation to put a ton of emphasis on small, seemingly unimportant details.
So the fact that Vanny is played by a different Voice actress could be something worth theorizing about with the added context of the game.

If you know scream, I think they're supposed to be different voice actors just so you WOULD think they are different people while they are the same. Lik3 in scream, ghostface had another voiceactor even tho other people played him
This is a family story. To me Greg is a stand in for the crying child, Freddy for Michael and Vanessa for Elizabeth. The colours are just too much of a match, whether they are actually those people somehow is up in the air but it’s so good to see the family together in spite of all the stuff they went through and the actions of William. It just makes me happy to see them all get a happy ending they deserve!

C.C's soul was freed in a mini game either in fnaf 1or fnaf 2 and Elizabeth and Michael were freed at the end of fnaf 6 so this theory of all of them being in the mega pizzaplex together makes no sense.

Since we know that Roxxane Wolf can see through walls are we entirely certain that she is talking to herself in the mirror? One of the messages in Security Breach did say that she would talk to the other characters through walls
Well, in the beginning when we first see her through the vents, she replies to herself. Saying "You are the best" and "everyone wants to be you" then saying "thank you". You may be onto something, that she is talking with someone. Not dismissing your hypothesis.

@@crovax1375 Yes, we are entirely certain that she is talking to herself in the mirror. We know Roxy is arrogant. It shows through her later voicelines. Plus, why would she say "I am the best" to the mirror if she was talking to Vanny?
@@feelsdankman211 I don't think that's arrogance? Arrogance isn't as soft, she sounded like she was trying to convince herself of what she was saying. She is a replacement for Foxy after all. And she clearly can think for herself and go beyond her written dialogue. It doesn't feel too far fetched (mind the pun) that she's merely attempting to keep up appearance, and that's without mentioning later in the game we can catch Roxy crying and insulting herself for her incapability to catch Gregory.

I think the two endings are meant to be mutually exclusive. The one I keep seeing people call the canon ending, where Burtrap is attacked by the blob and Freddy and Gregory escape, doesn’t really tie up the Vanny storyline, meaning she will be the antagonist in the next game. Whereas the 3 star ending, we free Vanessa, thereby defeating Vanny, and Burntrap is presumably still stuck deep underground in a charging chamber.
I think the 3 star ending is meant to say that the Vanny ending is the real ending and that we might see Afton again in the future
@@SuperMophie I think so too. It just doesn't make sense why there are stars on particular endings when we actually have a TRUE ending (VS Afton). Since Scott is retiring and plans on giving the FNaF series to someone else, I guess he's just making this game as a way of "how do YOU want to view it?" Who knows what else is going to happen with FNaF?

Yeah I actually had a run in with Vanny and 3rd time and when I died I replayed it she suddenly didn’t come after me anymore
I do honestly now like to think after freeing Vanessa, Greg and freddy went down to finish off william, while vanessa was most likely coming to grips about what happened and where she was, greg and freddy finished off william and ran while the pizza place burned down "hopefully forever" and thus they return to the surface and leave with vanessa

I think you really hit the mark with this one. I’ve been trying to figure out the lore for all fnaf and your video was the more concise as well as the most linear. I haven’t seen any other TH-camrs go as well into detail without it getting confusing and seeming like an ongoing tangent. The way you articulated each part of the story and lore flowed extremely well without making things too complicated. Amazing job!!!! :)
Here’s a thought nobody seems to talk about, who is running Fazbear Entertainment now with Henry dead and Afton taken by the blob, we have no idea who is calling the shots with the company or what their plans are.

If the company name was purchased, rebuilt, and returned to being a corporate entity (because Henry dissolved it all before he died in fnaf 6), then it's a board of directors/investors. But we don't know the specifics.

A small part of me wants to believe it Micheal Afton or at least he has a big another role in the company. I was a Security guard in both locations, heir of Afton Company that specializes in Animatronics, and Had my own Pizzaria Business the burn down in Fnaf 6. I do still like that there is a secret room for Vanny with an emergency exit, pizza, computer, and arcade game. Ignoring that the arcade game is the key to free Vanessa, i just have this feeling that Vanny just wants to chill if she can't find Gregory.
Honestly I haven't been convinced the Vanny personality is actually Malevolent, she's "The Reluctant Follower" after all, plus aren't most personality splits created as a psychological DEFENSE mechanism?
We have no confirmation she was responsible for ANY bloodshed, and the games sorta set up Gregory as a her final test/child-killing blood baptism.
Hell, if the story that Vanessa told the Therapists was originally Elizabeth's, whose to say there aren't other memory remnants/spiritual echoes from the VR game that followed Glitchtrap?
I mean, would the Puppet of all beings want William free to murder MORE children?
And it would really complicate Vanessa's own redemption if Vanny did have blood on their hands...
What I can't wrap my head around here is Vanny. Glitchtrap is a remnant of Afton, and thus is William Afton. He's escaped hell because the Springtrap chips were scanned and transferred into the game and is now stuck in that VR game. Then he attempts to "control" beta testers; I'd say he succeeded twice but Vanessa was the only one who could actually take his plan forward in the way he needs. And finally Vanny was created. But what's throwing me off is the word "control", because how exactly has Afton controlled her? He's locked her behind a door, but how much of her has he locked and what has he locked? Is Vanessa half possessed by Afton? Is he Vanny? Is he going to therapy sessions for her sometimes? No? Then Vanessa is still there, conscious and aware enough to be scared of disobeying, and doing these things. If she's not possessed in any way then Vanessa and Vanny aren't as separated as this all makes it sound. At the very least Vanny is a persona that Vanessa takes on, subconsciously or not, to relieve herself somewhat of the terrible things she has to do because she's so scared of disobeying.
For the love of God please tell me the answers to this section of the labyrinth that is the FNAF lore.
My guess is that Afton is always in her head, but has to divide his attention between her and the everything else he's been implanted into. I would guess that Vanny is what happens when he takes full control of Vanessa. She is probably just allowed to run on her own when Afton is working with other things, since he likely can't just turn off a human like a robot or a computer.

@@avixenk Technically, William Afton is a human ghost that was transferred to the video game, due to the Springtrap data being added in. Not sure how exactly he possessed Vanessa, but her playing the game seemed to connect them enough for him to jump to her.
@@avixenk to answer your question..we can’t exactly answer that “how” because there is no logical answer. I mean, ghosts taking control of animatronics is already unrealistic enough, so having a “malicious ghost” that’s been implanted into a game that requires the player to place something on their head and then take control of them doesn’t seem too far in the fnaf universe. Honestly what I’ve learned is, when you’re given vague answers in fnaf, take it all with a pinch of salt, and almost never use human logic because that’s just going to wreck our brains and leave us at dead ends. The way afton seems to have controlled the others is I imagine just by destroying their psyche. If he appears inside the game, as a “program” that wasn’t meant to be there, anyone would freak out. They’d question how this happened and look for ways to get rid of it. I’m guessing the first person started questioning his own sanity, especially when he started hallucinating in real life when away from the game. The same could be said for Vanessa since she apparently already had a fragile mind, being anxious and such, Afton probably had it easier to manipulate her and control her. I imagine it was just a bit of Vanessa that was locked away, perhaps Afton threatened to get rid of her entirely if she didn’t listen which was why Vanessa was terrified of him and complied to his orders? Idk, I’m just trying to piece a few things together using the fnaf rules haha.

i love the use of the therapy tapes to help reveal vanessa/vanny’s story. it’s sad to see that william afton based her trauma history around his own family. at least it provides context to what happened to mrs afton
the thing is tho, im pretty sure that the 3-star ending isn't canon, rather the Afton ending is canon, with vanny still captive under the glitchtrap virus. Meaning that while William Afton's physical body is either destroyed or even more mangled, his soul/consciousness is still alive, piggybacking inside of Vanny.
This is just my take based on the ending that most people think is the canon one

Everyone always says that William escaped hell when he became glitch trap but I've always seen it as the original Williams soul is in hell forever, code on a game wouldn't be able to bring him back. I would more so think that this is a digital copy of Williams consciousness in glitch trap. He's still the same cause it's an exact copy of how William was in spring/scrap trap but he's just not the original

@@Hollowboi_2003 Vanny, to me, comes off less a menacing killer, and just a henchmen. Literally all Vanny is doing is slavishly obeying Afton and she comes off far less intimidating, because of it. I feel it would be better for a new villain to just act on their own.
Afton didn't transfer to a new body at anytime. Each rendition of him is a more damaged version of the previous form only, not a new body. The only exception to this is GlitchTrap, which just uses a corrupted chip of his that contained part of his soul, thus the glitch. When we see him in Security Breach, its still his original body, even further damaged.
But why does scraptrap look different from spring trap?

I was SEVERELY disappointed by the endings of security breach tbh. Spring trap, who has always been one of the most threatening animatronics to me, wasn’t scary at all, all but one was ppl living happily ever after, and there wasn’t rly any new info on lore released, and no real hidden things to find other than fetch quests. I preferred the old games, however I did like the general gameplay of this one, even if it adds very little to the series as a whole.
It's almost ironic. The fact William Afton keeps coming back actually kind of makes him less threatening. He went from a cold blooded serial killer to a cartoonish scientist evil overlord commanding subjects to obey him and resurrect him as their king and master. It's just....silly. So silly.
It’s bc it was rushed . We were so tired of waiting we rushed the game creators . I believe there was more for the game . There’s no way there’s this HUGE OF A GAME with such little endings , and barely no answers .
We got more answers from the old games than we have this one . I feel like they scrapped many important parts to please us . And I feel bad now cause I really love this game .

This hit every note on my own headcanon save for one bit. Freddy held a fragment of Vanessa's spirit which helped him both gain slight sentience as well as fight off glitchtrap.
I just realized in the tapes Vanny says "rogue indie developer" of course referring to Scott, however why not just say Indie dev instead. This makes me think that maybe Scott worked for Fazbear Ent. or maybe witnessed something relating to them, and had to sign a sort of NDA.
Scott also clarified that it wasn't him, he just used a photo of himself like he's always done in the fnaf games. I guess in this case, it's a photo of someone that resembles Scott.

I thought Venessa was the beta tester for Help Wanted VR but then my only question is, what happened to tape girl then? If glitch trap managed to take over tape girl so she would leave tapes setting up Venessa on tape 16, why would glitchtrap even need Vanessa and did tape girl kill anyone or do anything before Venessa took over?

What I find interesting is that Vanessa has US Army Private rank insignia on the collar of her uniform. This makes me wonder if the human security at the Pizzaplex use some sort of military-style rank system, or if those Private chevrons are just a part of the uniform.

I believe that the original voice of Vanny was a manager of the VR company, she saw the issue but fell victim to Glitchtrap.
Glitchtrap (The genius that he is) told her to have multiple escape routes. One including the new BETA tester that just showed up.
Vanny saw a woman who was younger but looked identical. Vanny being the manager recommended Vanessa as a guard even without experience.
At this point, she just used Vanessa's trauma as an identity, she kept encrypted contact with a traumatized Vanessa as a secret contact.
This is my only backing for the two Vanessa ending, otherwise I have no other evidence

They serve to show a pattern in Vanessa's therapy sessions. A therapist would start asking the wrong questions or get to close, Vanny would send an animatronic to kill them. one of the tapes highlighting the fact that her former therapist was torn apart "disassembled". Vanessa doesn't kill you because glitch trap isn't in control, but she leaves you locked in a room where vanny knows exactly where to find you after glitch trap takes over.

I had previously thought he might have been Michael's son (that he probably had no knowledge of) from before he suffered his fate at the sister location.
About 98% of this at least... seemed correct. However, this would require two canon endings: The True Ending, and the Good Vanny Ending. Notice, however, that the two endings have one major contradiction: The state of Freddy.
Even if we were to assume that both were able to happen, one right after the other (Springtrap encounter, then Vanny, to explain the state of Freddy), both endings clearly show Gregory with Freddy, in the same location, in two totally different conditions.

The one detail that still boggles me is the 2-star "fire escape" ending in Security Breach. Specifically in the post-credits scene where Vanessa looks down from the top of the Pizzaplex and sees where Freddy tackled "Vanny" to the ground below, apparently killing them both. And Gregory unmasks Vanny to see...Vanessa?
Either this is a non-canon ending (which Scott is certainly a fan of using), or Vanny is a double impersonating Vanessa's life in secret. Remember the rubber human masks discussed in Luis's emails?
So many ends to tie up...hopefully DLC can do a good job filling in the holes.
Fun fact: in the FNaF help wanted we can hear the mask say:”it will be fun” and the in security breach when Vanessa catches you Vanny asks: are you having fun yet”

The correlation between Vanny and Vanessa was obvious to me right away. As soon as I saw the name “Vanny” (subtitles reveal this very early) and saw that she was around instead of Vanessa in the Lost and Found, I knew it was Vanessa. Not very well hidden if it really WAS supposed to be a twist. The “face-reveal” ending also makes it pretty obvious they are the same person, as the woman in the mask is clearly Vanessa, and Gregory’s reaction confirms it, as he wouldn’t have reacted in such a way if he didn’t recognize her.
I don't want to be "that guy" but there's a few holes in this story/Theory.
1 The mall was build on top of the pizzeria and in the logs someone that look like Vanessa was caught on camera sneaking in and talking to a rabbit. Fazbear stated that he was there before and help move rubble, that would had been spotted but it's not cause the pizzeria is no longer open and buried.
2 How did Vanessa who was talking to Gregory at the time in a split second was Vanny talking to Gregory following by her showing up in full bunny suit?
3 Yeah I mentioned this but the Pizzeria was still open wail Vanessa was still working as a guard, however the way the logs play itself it sounds like Vanessa was working at the pizzeria but than got transfer to an other location. If you recall it was after the transfer she was caught on camera sneaking.
4 This is the big one. If all endings are real and all could happen if you go with the one choice or another, than why was there a Vanessa on top of the mall looking horrify at dead Vanny?
This lead to my own theory. Vanessa and Vanny are twin sister. Not only that but how Vanny is, it would be easy to used her sister access codes to talk on the computer.

@Joshua ColdStone Very true but you forget that the first CD about her family was a lie. In fact if you notice there's times where she hate light but than love blue skies, hate flowers but than love there sent, and love candy but the next complain about calories. I think Vanny swap places to see if she can get away with impersonating her sister, not only that but using the therapist files to fine and hunt kids. Therapist #3 pointed out she help kids. This could also explain why Gregory doesn't trust Vanessa but she has no idea who he is.

Princess quest is the hardwire hack that gives glitch trap access to the malls systems and animatronics. it also servers as the source for further influencing Vanessa to act out as Vanny. I'm not Shang Tsung, so i don't know the ins and outs of soul trapping, but maybe shes free from glitch traps connection to her.
I think the confusion being the medium in which the game try's to hint at such? Like using the 8bit format to demonstrate a man being trapped in a spring lock suit by his victims souls.
So during one of the endings you can have vanny torn apart by bots so did Gregory technically murder Vanessa ?
That's kind of why it's shown with a discretion shot that depicts actual blood instead of machinery, because Vanny was not a machine, unlike Freddy where you see the parts being ripped out.

@@Retro_Red I mean....Vanny was actively trying to kill him the whole night prior and in almost equally if not even more of a gruesome faction and would have killed him too if he didn't do something about her, right then and there and likely would have been able to steal control back by her own tech skills eventually regardless and she just killed Freddy the only thing to protect him. From Gregory's perspective, it's arguably it was completely necessary.

Given the Afton Ending being the only fully animated ending, and despite the absence of Vanny, it's (most likely) the canon ending, which means Vanny is NEVER freed.
Which is a massive OOF for her.

I dont really think any ending is Canon. More like they are there to just put in peices of a Much larger puzzle. The Dlc will have the true ending once we know everything.
Without the William/Glitchtrap, Vanessa should be free from Vanny but we can't tell for sure just yet
I think the 3 star ending is canon, that's why they gave a 2 star ending to the Afton one so that people don't get confused about that.

Benny was so hyped and pushed the whole time VR and AR were a thing. She chases you maybe twice the entire SB game :( her official art shows her holding a 🔪 so when she’s just frolicking about and having a very weak presence and jump scare, it’s kinda disappointing. We see so much of her existence in the game but none of her, and I feel like we were robbed of something more. There has to be more in the concept art or something

Think about it, he doesn't have a family...she doesn't have a family...and the two of them were able to help each other through the struggles at the Pizzaplex. I highly doubt Vanessa would leave a young boy alone with an animatronic head
funny thing about the endings i notest in the "true ending" we never see what happened to vanny so afton still controls her in that ending but in the "best" ending we never see burntrap and the place never burns down so burn trap is still partly repaired and may escape regardless of Vanessa being free or not so 2 routs for a sequel if they wanted to

I just realized something. If you look closely during the moment Freddy starts glitching out during the intro cutscene, chica looks concerned and even approaches over him when he collapses, giving off a different vibe from how we see her during gameplay. We also see his vision glitching out and warning of someone, even warning of his integrity level dropping before he collapses. Maybe instead of Matpat’s theory about Gregory being the cause, it was Vanessa/Vanny. We do know she affects electronics.
