What the hell? No one answered these questions yet. Did you figure it out, Anyone? I can't get the air tank off because the moderator where the barrel flares out gets in the way and jams it in there. Any Ideas, did any of you figure out the fill problem?
My FlashPup was filled with using proper pump. shoot wonderful for a few hours until the tank needed air, But never charged again, it feels like a hissing of air from the trigger area.
At 2 minutes 37 seconds it is showing the brass fill valve with no o-rings in the grooved slots. Is this correct? Or do o-rings need to go on prior to fill?
Ummm, I think you mean use Teflon tape to wrap threads, Plumbers tape is a metal strip about an inch wide with holes in it, used to hang pipes with, usually under a house or floor space.
When purchasing a Hatsan Flashpup, does it come with the required fittings in order to easily connect the pump to it, or is everything sold separately?
Brilliant series of videos. Being extremely old, I recall having those 'Breakback' air rifles.... I tried the Screw in Gas cylinder pattern air weapons but accuracy is literally 'Hit or miss'. I bought my AT44-10, .22 rifle with a stirrup pump ! I'm much fitter after recharging the high pressure cylinder and this air weapon has consistent accuracy. Personally I prefer a .22 rimfire but firearms are banned in the UK. The authorities think they're dangerous ! A+ & High 5s for your most informative videos. My respects. J.S.
So I have a compressor and once I stop filling I stop the compressor and need to bleed the hose. However, If I slowly bleed the compressor the rifle's valve won't close and will vent all the air in the tank. If I rapidly bleed the air from the compressor the piston valve of the compressor will go bad. Could you please tell me what additional valves I need so I can shut the compressor and then bleed the air safely? Thank you!
Hey rick, how are you? so I'm hoping you can answer a big question for me.I've been trying to find out if I need to be checking my air rifle cylinders for corrosion. I have 3 riffles. one is a bt65.the others are texan 45,and a evanix tactical sniper. my concern is being that I use a hand pump only.how will I know when to check for corrosion because of all the moisture.I'm just concerned because this is allot of pressure I hold up to my face each time I shoot. I love my airguns. .just have some safety concerns because of how I had to have my paintball guns checked for corrosion. anyhow I would really appreciate it if you could look into it for me and give me an answer. .it would really give me piece of mind. .thank you.
+Hugo Ezparza - it will depend on the gun.. You'll need to work out the best way with each model. Check with the manufacturers for a better timeline if they have one. cheers AGW

Hello pyramid air Ihave a bull boss 22 cal. and after 15-20 shots I try to top it off while the gauge is still 1/2 green or about 100 bar using a air venturi g6 hand pump. As soon as I insert the probe into the cylinder fill port all the remaining air leaves the cylinder and IT drops all the way down to the yellow .What am I doing wrong? the o rings on the probe are fine and not leaking there. Also as I am pumping some strokes have very little resistance and others you have to lean into to get the down stroke Can you help me ? I have tried cocking lever full open and full closed with and without the magazine. Do you know why my gun is doing this all I want to do is top it off after 20 shots while it is still in the green. Thank You Kevin Neel
I have a question.. i just ordered a hatsan bullboss .22 with a hand pump from pyramid air.. my question is do i need too purchase an additional piece or part in order too pump up my rifle? Thanks for any help.
A just bought a hatsan flashpup s we and for some reason my fill prob seems smaller cause it doesn't build up pressure with my handpump not sure what the prob is can someone help me
I'm literally having the SAME problem. Every time I pump the air just seeps outwad. Maybe its not tight enough, at least from what I've found... I have a flashpup as well. Instructions really do suck, and so does this video. It doesn't touch on any of the nuance of this.
@@AirGunWeb I bought a low budget hand pump on amazon and my Hatsan flash was empty when i got it and it took me around 70 pumps to get it within range.
hello, I have a Hatsan Flash and a Hatsan pump. the pump after 10 movements is blocked. It creates an overpressure and no longer loads the Flash cylinder. Where's the problem?
+Joseph Ball - bet on about 10 pumps per 100 psi.. so 3000 psi would be 300 pumps from empty.. Also depends on the size of the tank you are filling. Cheers AGW
Spike - 10 pumps for 100 psi is an average. It will be less or it may be more depending on the size of your air chamber. Generally I shoot from 200 bar down to about 120 or so. It's not that bad if you don't drain the cylinder each time you sit down to shoot. Cheers, AGW
Luis Ramirez - When they become available. I believe Hatsan has finally received their first shipment of new products. Should be a fun rest of the year. Cheers AGW
It's no joke. Be ready for a slight workout. He is correct though. 0 to 200 is ridiculous. 100 to 200 is about 5 minutes of pumping like the guy demonstrates. Slow steady pace, use your weight and less arms . If you have the money a high pressure electric pump is the way to go. In saying that. 200 bar with my Hatsun Carnivore 30 caliber gives me 21 rounds. That's not to empty. That's 21 rounds leaving 100 psi in the tank. Shots don't start losing power til around the 7th shot. Then you just need to adjust a little each shot after. Those first 7 are amazing. I was hitting a empty antifreeze jug (size reference) at 100 yards. Very easily. Killed three ground hogs already. I've uploaded one shot on my TH-cam page. A take down of a ground hog living under my wife's shed destroying the ground beneath it. He is gone. Check it out.
Hi, I have the same air weapon. On the side there are details that include the 'Max pressure, 200 Bar'. Usually this is referred to as the 'Safe working pressure'. My AT44 will not accept pressure over 200 Bar so there must be a safety valve in the pressurisation system ? I cannot pump the pressure above 200 Bar which is the line between the Green (safe) and the red (Danger) quadrants on the Rifle's air pressure indicator. There is a video that shows how to increase the power of the weapon without increasing the pressure in the pressurised air cylinder. Trust me, you do not want to be altering the manufacturers spec on air pressures, one slip and can kill you. Stay safe !
hey rick i have this exact pump but the gauge on the cylinder and the one on the pump show different readings for some reason,is that normal, and if not which reading do i use. thanks in advance.
+Jason E - I would go by the one on the cylinder. Also, send an email to Hatsan to see what they say. They have a form on their site that you can submit. Cheers AGW
10 pumps = 100 psi? So 290 pumps from empty to get to capacity? And 190 pumps to top off from 1000psi? Yikes! I always wondered what kind of effort needed to go into a PCP to fill one using a hand pump. Thanks Rick!
Hey, I recently got my .25 cal invader and then got a compressor, and not sure if it the compressor or air rifle. Also, this is my first air rifle as I am used to real firearms. I followed the instruction of the Invader and cocked it and connected the airline and then turned on the fan and then the power on the compressor. I set the bar pressure to 2000 and after 5 minutes there was nothing happening. The gauge on the air rifle and compressor showed zero change. I turned the compressor off but left the fan on per the instructions and opened the bleeder valve and there was barely anything that came out. I then disconnected the airline from the rifle and compressor and plugged back in putting my finger over the fitting on the compressor while it was running to see how much pressure was coming out. Not much at all. So is it the compressor or as I just doing something so stupid I am missing it? Thanks

Good tip about using the plumbers tape, to prevent any possible air escaping
