run around like a headless chicken is an idiom which means doing things hastily without any proper planning. 'Ravi is such a disorganized fellow that he runs around like a headless chicken' makes perfect sense because disorganized people do things without planning.
Like a headless chicken is the idiom which means hastily. And the sentence said run around like a headless chicken which literally means to run hastily or to run in a panicky way.
Vishal Choudhury it does not mean 'to run in literal sense'. It suggests the action of doing 'things' with great haste in a senseless manner. Idioms are supposed to have an ulterior meaning and not a literal one brother.
I think you did not understand what I just explained. Ok I'll try to make it simpler for you. The idiom is "like a headless chicken" which means hastily, and the sentence given is "run like a headless chicken" so the word 'run' has a literal meaning here (not the idiom). In full which means - to run hastily or to run in a state of panic. So this makes the sentence irrelevant as the state of being disorganised has nothing to do with the action 'run' directly. This was done to confuse the candidates. And as I can see, you got confused.
Vishal Choudhury i understood what u said. My point is run like a headless chicken does not mean hastily. plz google it a few more times. or let's just agree to disagree if u r not serious about resolving the state of consternation everyone is in.
Madamji ! Q8 mein B ka D se connect hoga .. "to run around like a headless chicken" ek idiom hai...it means " to be very busy doing multiple things"... woh daud nhi rha .... okk...Plz don't misguide...
can anybody pls explain me why in the first question of sentence starters, ii can be a starter..as then the sentence would be 'the growing influence of the Indian Disapora on Capitol hill. Trump will certainly see the advantages of doing business with India' it still sounds like two different sentence..so how, it is a contender to be an answer...Pls help..
I would like to disagree on Q. 8 answer. It should be both AF as well as BD. Because to run around like a headless chicken means to be doing many things in a disorganized manner. Please do correct me if I'm wrong @anchal Ma'am
Q9 , AF is NOT grammatically incorrect. In this sentence, the word ‘some’ is not used as a quantifier (denoting number), it is used as an indefinite pronoun. Meaning “some rich guy” is equivalent in meaning to “someone rich”. Hence, “some rich guy just bought the house next to mine.” is both grammatically correct and makes makes perfect sense. In the video she has described ‘some’ as a quantifier which does not apply to this particular sentence. @Adda247 @anchal
In Q.12 since all the options are correct which option shall we mark ? None of these? Because in all other options only two combinations are given.. all three are not given.. please reply

Some guy from Boston wala sentence.. Some people are finding this sentence absolutely correct because we use these type of slangs and such sentences in daily life.. This is grammar, we have to interpret the sentences using some rules.. No hard and fast rule is required
Can anyone explain to me the last question: how B can be joined with F..what is the meaning it is trying to convey..we will go on sight seeing & we are planning for that?
