it's easier way, sitting guard with key surrending sometimes and you can grab his uniform... than you grab german backpack and explosives without shooting, but sometimes germs can recognize, btw. I finish it with only one kill ;D
I just did the mission, might even be slightly better as the background music never changed to „battle music”, no one saw me, not a single shot by enemy was shot, but it still did not give me the optional objective. I guess it’s kind of glitched or smth
Just take the uniform from the sweeper and use a knife to perform silent kills The third bar next to your health indicates stealth which you can use in this mission
I mentioned this in Q/A. They simply don't give up on the hardest difficulty (maybe like 64 rounds of body blocking and shooting with Sten would work). He just starts running and screaming. I know how stealth works with uniform and it's awesome, but I was not able to recreate it when I was running this mission.
See my answer in the video description. Basically on very hard I couldn't make the enemy give up without around 60 bullets sprayed around him. Even the guy with the paintbrush was just running away alarming everyone without care in the world. Now if this mission can be done with uniform stealthily .. I don't know, there were too many enemies and since I couldn't take the uniform anyway I didn't try. I guess it could be possible. EDIT: Also this was carnage and I would have to kill everyone anyway. The guys spawning in the main stair rooms upstairs and downstairs would find me out even with uniform I guess.
I played the campaing in Carnage mode which means you have to kill every enemy and scientists count as those in this mission. In standard campaign most of them would either run to press the alarm when they spot you or whip out their pistols to shoot at you. This game is quite old and there is no way to take down enemies non-lethally. That being said you need to run around planting explosives all around the complex so they would probably die even when left alive there during the explosion.
Good question, since they only appear where you can't see at that time, I would think they came from different part of the undeground complex, maybe some non-interactive door. It's sad either way.
@@iRdenton I'm not entirely sure if the reinforcements just show up on harder difficulties either. I mean, I played the mission on normal so many times using the uniform route from second floor painter and they never appeared but on hard mode they did either way. There are some sealed off doors but when looking at the map they appear in the second floor lobby and the bottom floor lobby and tbh it seems they just appear out of thin air.
@@shinymetagross1818 Spoiler alert, they do. That's exactly what I noticed and why the stealth was never working, they always found some bodies or something. Anyway once I knew where they spawn I was just retrying the mission until I got them without the alarm.
@@iRdenton Hah, I just tried locking second floor lobby guard in his room somewhat out of sight. And then for some reason when I unlocked bathroom guy's stall he walked to the door frame, stood there, and when I stealth killed him the alarm instantly turned on, haha.
+Amine hajji taki Thanks. That mission is quite annoying on very hard yes. I guess sniping the middle section and using the tank cannon to your advantage is a must. After that it is really all about that sniping and healing any damage caused by airplanes.

Yea, surrendering didn't work for me in this run, I just killed everyone :D I had to anyway because of the Carnage objective.

I don't own/haven't played this game before. Do you have to kill the scientists? is there a non lethal option?
