🚲Biking in Milan, Italy 1: to the ROUGHEST PART of town (Quarto Oggiaro) past touristy stuff

I explored Milano, Italy, by bike. Part 1 started with a quick visit to Duomo Square for a celebration of Republic Day. Right after that, I ventured into the suburbs to the north and visited Quarto Oggiaro, a rougher part of town. I serendipitously came across the site for the largest but one student campus of Italy.

This part of Milan reminds me a lot of how Brooklyn and Queens can be, with the industrial yards and shabby housing with sketchy streets. Though I think Brooklyn is a lot more dangerous hahah

I have been to parts of Brooklyn before, but that is a long time ago. I did not feel unsafe in the areas of Milan featured in the video. I do enjoy sketchy streets from time to time. I consider these as much part of a city as the center.
