Great colors, and I agree, the Diablo Menth is totally illegible. However, I'm afraid you left all the magic of Emerald of Chivor at the bottom of the sample vial. Where is all the glorious shimmer? Give the sample a good shake and enjoy the true color of Chivor 🤩
Thank you for that pronunciation! I usually look up how to before I record and realized I hadn’t when I picked up the ink sample and tried to say the name 😅. Yeh, not a fan. I keep thinking why make an ink for fountain pens (that are used for writing!) where your writing will not be legible? What the heck! Def using for ink play.
@@wildlyimaginable Looking at the array of a company’s ink palette from another direction, I’ve thought of the lighter colors as mixing options, a type of dilution fluid.
@@StacySchulze-cg1he I get it. That’s definitely another way to use lighter inks but as many don’t actually mix inks and just use in fountain pens to write….🤷🏽♀️
Thought you were actually swapping humans when I read the title! It’s a good job I’ve just had my hair dyed blond again 😂. The Diablo Menthe actually is legible in my Kaweco Sport Mint with medium nib, it was one of the first inks I brought in a bottle. On the orange front have you tried Diamine Blood Orange, I think you would like it! Thank you for another fab video and yes once again I’ve added another ink to my wish list, the R&K Cassia! Xx
Blood Orange reads too, too red for me. Diamine Pumpkin is more my speed. Now I'm gonna have to ink of Diablo Menthe in another couple of pens. Maybe it's a flow thing that needs the constant flow of in through a feed to make it more legible., Mmmmh...Now you have me thinking. Isn't Cassia just gorg!!! Oh my word!! Nice colors! Out of all these colors my favorite (that I've tried) is definitely Goose Poupon. It's a close dupe of Ina-Ho (which I have a bottle of) but i liked GP a lot more which might be a little controvesial 😅. But well im happy that you discovered Teranishi Guitar inks! I've tried most of them (except lady emerald and three others). I LOVE their Taisho line of inks because its one of my favorite japanese periods! Their packaging also reflects that time period and it looks so pretty! From that line my favorites are Antique Black (a black ink with brown and blue chromatography), Gentle Green (an ink that writes blue but dries green, kind of like Sabimidori but greener) and Melancholic Blue (a teal-ish blue with red sheen). Anyways, i hope you enjoy all of your inks, cant wait to see pens inked with them in the future!
Goose Poupon has been on my wish list for over a year. I have so much ink....so I've held off on buying full sized bottles. Then I saw the Ina-Ho ink on someone's page in October and went on a hunt for an ink that's been discontinued, and all the "dupe videos" list it as a very close dupe.

Thanks Goya! I'm not usually a black ink fan but that Antique Black sounds interesting. Seems like I need to investigate the Teranishi line of inks out there. This year that's the plan....different brands that are completely new to me, not more of the same. Altho you can always bet on a Diamine or Iroshizuku ink for sure.
Hi! I’m so glad you liked them! I thought you might find Diabolo Menthe a bit light, I use it mostly for art. A similar ink by Herbin that’s legible is Bleu Pervenche. I felt the same way about Baystate Blue as you did about Emeraude de Chivor. I’m happy to swap again anytime!
I knew it was a light but was kinda thoroughly disappointed in how light it was, practically illegible. Why make a writing ink that you can't read? Mmmmh...🤔 Regardless, I see another few swaps in our future ☺️
@ Next time I will add a bonus legible light blue to your picks! Oh- I did the paper test we were talking about and I will bring them the next time we meet up at either club or café.
