Thanks @Joyplanes RC! I enjoy watching your glider videos. Have you seen any videos of this one flying?

Please give some details. Motor, prop. Servos, number of channels required, etc. are they bought plans, or your own? Nice job and a lot of hard work.

Thanks! The electronics list is in the description of the maiden flight: th-cam.com/video/69qpRZy8Enc/w-d-xo.html&t
It's only a 3 channel (rudder, elevator, and throttle), so it only needs two servos. I designed the plane and drew the plans myself on Autocad/Fusion 360. I may get around to making plans for it one day. If someone actually wants to build one I'll move it up on my projects list, but if not, it would be a lot of work to make plans as I don't have the original drawing anymore.

This thing could thermal and never come down!

Yup! When I first built it I thought it wouldn't thermal due to it's low maneuverability (and at that stage I hadn't thermalled before either). But it goes great! A few times I got it so high I could barely see it, even with it being so huge!!! So much fun 😎. Scared me a few times though, when I wasn't sure if I'd escape the thermal and be able to come down before I lost sight of it 😬.

What glider model is it? Looks good and sleek.

It's my own design. Thanks for the kind words, it's not quite a $2000 carbon fiber machine, but I like it! And besides, it was very cheap (comparatively) to build.

Thanks! I used Hobbyking burnt orange covering film. The red film is also from HK.

Nice Work what you have done, i Love it💓
It would be so nice when you making a Plan from this glider, i will build one by my own for me. I build also only wooden Gliders by myself and i Love the Work with Balsa. My Last Projekt was a 4 Meter Scale model of an Oldtimer Glider. Just right now i build an SG38 Glider Wingspan around 2 Meters in Full Scale only from upsized Plans Out of the Internet.
So please make an Plan for those People who build Models Like yours.
    Greetings from Germany ;)
