I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my account password. I would love any help you can give me
@Brendan Reuben i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Great tutorial! I didn't realise the flow command worked with the mapping! Previously I would manually bend the texture mesh to align the grain.... Doh!
As soon as I hit apply in the uv editer mode, texture get pixelated and never be fixed even if I change repeat number and cannot get the result that I could see in preview of uv editer. Any ideas?
That was a great tutorial! Been using Rhino for over a decade but never much for texturing. Didn't know some of those capabilities! I have an issue trying to fix the mapping on a surface that is stretched at the ends. Think of a simple u-shape surface bent in two directions. The low middle part is textured fine, but the ends are really stretched out.. not sure how to fix this? (Wish I could post a picture of it here.)
Honestly one of the most detailed tutorials ive ever seen. A true blessing.

@Brendan Reuben it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out !
@Willie Erik You are welcome =)
I've been modeling and rendering for years and it is the first time I learn how to properly map. Thank you so much!
One of the best tutorials I’ve seen. Thank you

Brian J is the man. getting a peek into his bag of tricks is always a good thing.
Best tutorial ever, thank you! Keep coming back to this, when I forget the Flow command :-)
Thank you so much for this!
Hi Brian, this technic can apply for veneer. Could you share method to make real wood section with wood end grain. Thank
Thank you, very useful tutorial. Hoping in Rhino 8 the menus improve for textures - might just be me but seems very convoluted!
Brian, Thx for the tutorial. It was really helpful.
Very detailed! thanks for making this video!!!🔥🔥
Excellent Video
Thank you. You have made a very helpful tutorial
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR THE DETAILED AND CLEAR EXPLANATION, GOOD VIDEO! 😁
Glad it was helpful!
Really amazing lecture
How about wood section with grain. can you please make tutorial with Rhino 7. Thank
can we flatten the uv is there any way for that
Cool, How do you take that image and turn the bitmap into a bump within Vray. Not using Photoshop.

Hello, thank you very much for the tutorial. You are very high quality. I repeated as application. See you later.
Love Brian !! So clear and helpful
thanks a lot. Preview looks great but when I hit apply it blurs/pixelates. Why can this be happening?
BOOM! MAGIC! THANK YOU!
Excellent tutorial, many thanks !!!
Hello!! thank you for the tutorial it is really good and instructive. Are you work with an object in mesh type?
why unwrap doesnt work for surfaces? only objects?
Wow. Thanks!
One very important question (would buy Rhino if yes): Do these UVs created inside of rhino preserve when exporting as OBJ (tesselated) file?
OBJ won’t work. You need to use FBX for export
@@aloexkborn OBJ, FBX doesn’t matter. What matters is, will it save the UVs properly with the triangulated model (polygon file)

Send the parts and textures to support@mcneel.com and let us know what’s happening and we’ll be glad to help troubleshoot!
so cool!!
Can you give me 3 reasons why Rhino 7 is better than SketchUp for architectural work?
is it possible that you cant change material properties in the test version of rhino 6?
On my mac, changing materials works like a charm :-)
great tutorial!!
thanks
perfect
subbed
I understand
I wish I could do this without my computer crashing every 5 seconds
Send us your systeminfo to tech@mcneel.com it’s likely you need to update your graphics card drivers.
@@Rhinoceros3d I am using a mac so that's not possible. After purging all unused materials and textures it appears to be working well, thanks
