    I am a newbie to sewing and I didn't understand the burrito method but I followed along and VOILA I had a scrunchie in a few minutes. My daughter was very impressed.

      That’s just great! You literally saved yourself from wasting time making the tube way and threading elastic through a long channel and not a nice finish along the short seam. Good on ya! Please check out some of my other videos. Have a great day😊

      Good day Angela!! Absolutely LOVE your sewing vids. You are so super talented! Is there a particular sewing machine please you would highly recommend? I have a wonderful, kind friend who lent me her sewing machine so I could sew masks. I been looking since January this year, but can't seem to find the one.
      I need a straight stitch one that's heavy duty and can sew fast. Thank you ever so kindly! Appreciate you. 😃 😊

      Sorry I missed your comment. An industrial machine will always be the best if you want heavy duty. If you don’t have the room or budget for it, consider a semi industrial machine

    This seem the most simplest scrunchie method that I would like to try. I would like to make scrunchies for my grandbaby who is 2 1/2 years old. What dimension should I cut my fabric and elastic for a toddler size scrunchie? Thank you 😊

    • @NotchesSewing
      @NotchesSewing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      HI Laura, the dimensions will really depend on the look you want and how much hair she has. Try cutting fabric 3”x 14” with 8” of elastic to tie like balloon. This will give you a mini looking scrunchie. You can always cut a longer elastic, tie it , test it on her before closing the small opening. That way you can adjust. Have fun!
