Here's my top 10 must have mods for ETS2 from the Month of April. it features new trucks, trailers, sounds & maps all free.
Due to us being currently stuck between two versions, I've tried to include as many mods that are compatible with both versions 1.36 & 1.37 with the exception of the sound mods.

Well done Fox, another great choice of mods.😁 My eye was drawn towards the Renaul Premium by Alex, that does look very nice! But all of them are great to be honest. BTW, in the D-TEC Combi trailer I noticed they have the JR (Japanese Railways) skins. How long have they been in? I've never noticed them before. Great work again 👍😁
Thanks Bobbie, The Renault Premium is going to be a great mod in time. If you remember, Alex also did the MP4 and that was amazing. So i'm looking forward to seeing what else he adds to this. I honestly have no idea, the skin is also in another container pack that i've been using for quite a while.

can someone tell me how to show gears in ATS and ETS in high and low range instead of numbers? I only have keyboard, no pedal or steering wheel.
The gears will only show like that if you're using manual transmission.

What ets 2 version do you need to run in order to use the RJL Scania?
It's currently working on 1.37 & 1.38. As long as you're using the fix.

I tried downloading the D-TEC Combi trailer Ownable V1.1 (1.36 & 1.37), European Truck Stops V1.30 (1.36 & 1.37), Realistic Brutal Weather v4.2.4 (1.36 & 1.37)
. The Dtec mods worked fine and showed up in my mods list. I am currently having troubles downloading mods outside the steam workshop. Almost every mod i download doesn't work. The mods that work are usually in a compressed(zipped) file. Can you help me?
They zipped to decrease the file size, you need to extract them with one of the following programs Winrar, Winzip or 7zip. I personally use Winrar but they all do the same job.

hello Fox I downloaded the mod of the scania open pipe to me it does not go and yet I am already at 1.37 what you think it can be
You need to make sure that you're selecting the correct engine and truck.
Just downloaded promods, but as of today it unfortunately doesnt work with the latest ETS version
It was updated yesterday to support 1.37. 😊

for the extreme brutal weather - are the fog lights workable ??
They work, but they don't do a great job. It's due to limiations with the game engine I think.

I have found a minor issue with the prefab garage mod in that I get a CTD in 2 separate instances 1 is if I use the garage interior as a background and the second is trying to customize a truck, I can get into the dealer and probably buy it but if I hit the customize button it crashes. I tried it on a new profile with no mods and it does the same thing. So if anyone has found a fix let me know. Thank you

I installed the European Truck stops mod and i don't see the diference on them, they look practically the same
You need the following mods and they must be in the following order in the mod manager
* -Europe Truck Stop_V1.30_By Ernst Veliz
* -painted_truck_traffic_pack_by_Jazzycat_vx.x
* -trailers_traffic_pack_by_TrafficManiac_vx.x
* real company logo

FML. I was just getting into ProMods 2.45 and now ETS2 has updated to a later version.
I know, me too! hopefully it shouldn't be too long until it's updated to the latest version.
Fox On The Box yeah that is the sad part... by the time they release the pack which supports 1.37, SCS will put info about 1.38 and it will be same situation as has always been.

The window feature was added in 1.37, go into your options>key bindings and assign a key to open/close the left & right window.

I dont know about ETS2 but Realistic Brutal Weather for ATS is horrendous right now (it was ok on 1.36). The moon looks stupid, the transition between day and night is too fast (5 seconds) and the overall ambient light makes the mod completely washed out. If it is the same on ET2 1.36... dude, you have a problem considering this a good graphics mod.
I think it looks pretty good, Kass is always improving it too. I try and include a good mixture of mods rather than flooding it just with trucks & trailers. As I only include mods from the month of April it can be hard to do so. But I think that it deserves a good spot in the top 10 this month.
