i want digital toad next tbh. maybe make it in such a way where you can mix and match head/vest pieces for different colors without needing all new figures. if nothing else, either the standard toad or the blue toad.
with mario luigi and peach covered, itd be nice to have toad to round out the "main 4".

Agreed. Plus i think the buildable figs are more accurate to their in game look than if they were all minifigs.

Even though I love the Digifigures, Lego really needs to give fans what they want. And also the option of stickers for eyes mouth and chest for Mario, Luigi, and Peach, it’s one of the most glaring problems with the figures.
However, I’m starting to see why people really want minifigures. Because they want the cool display options with the cast with other characters. Bowser as a big fig is cursed, ngl. So it was the right call for Bowser to be brick built.
The reason I’m on the fence with mini-figures is because of personal preference. As a kid, I always lost the mini-figures I would always get in sets. Which is why I was happy with the way Lego handled Mario. But fans do want the mini-figures. Even if the complaining isn’t the best.
You’re handling the criticism the best AshnFlash, you’re not aggressive about it like others. Which is why I love this channel. You give Lego’s experimentation the benefit of the doubt, even if sometimes the experimentation isn’t that great.

I predict this is gonna happen. The current digital figures system are going to transition to Mario Kart, and exclusively Mario Kart. To fill in that gap of standard Mario will be minifig scale sets.

I wonder if the Mario kart sets will work with the standard digital figures and not just be exclusive to the new chargeable ones coming out this summer. Then people won’t have to rebuy the new figures just to get the Mario kart sets.
I think it would be cool if they released sets with a character's suit and maybe like 3 karts and they could make it $40 maybe. I also hope they do a didigtal yoshi with the Mario kart since yoshi is the best and most popular character in the game

If they made Wario starter pack, I would actually buy that digifig. Always loved the character but I wish they would do more with him than just Warioware because I've never cared about Warioware. Let him be playbale in a platformer again!
While we definitely won't get Mario minifigures as a full theme, I could see us getting a D2C set that has minifigures of Mario and some other characters around a display of Peach's castle or something. I don't think that's what we're getting for the 2024 D2C set, but it could happen in the future.

Like I said in the video, I don’t think it means anything. But the amount of DMs and comments I got yesterday saying “LEGO Mario Minifigures confirmed” - meant I needed to talk about it.
Regardless of who said it and if it’s credible, someone at LEGO teased it.
Wish we can on day have actual minifigures of Mario characters.
as much as I love this wave, I am so sad there's still seemingly no minifig scale lego mario builds... lego sonic is so good, especially for display, but man those blocky characters on the mario side are so funky looking,,,
My 6yo son loves his Sonic theme minifigs I had to buy all the characters for him. They are just so cool. Building the Eggman mech was fun and he's had a blast playing with them all. He likes Mario too so I'd get those if they were minifig. scale like Sonic.

Hi, so just to make sure I understood this correctly the new iteration of Mario karts is going to be lego Mario karts instead of a new Mario karts normal version? I really liked all the Mario kart games and if it will be lego instead I'm really not thrilled about it.

Great video. Personally not wanting minifigures because the scale is wrong. I would imagine Wario would be next for the digital figs but if they can work out Toad and Yoshi ready for Mario Kart that would be great.
The scale is only wrong because they decided on digital figures instead of minifigures. Even so we get some elements that are pretty much minifig-scale like the blocks and Bowser.
