Theology and Current Events (TCE) #35 is “Four Years of Purgatory” as the Key to Fr. Ciszek. The Catholic Church’s Servant of God Fr. Walter Joseph Ciszek SJ (1904-1984) wrote three books, the second of which is called “He Leadeth Me.” We look at pages 75-81 as a masterpiece of abandonment to Divine Providence in a real and difficult modern circumstance.
this is one of the most impactful TCEs I've heard and many of your videos have impacted me greatly. We have a family issue involving addiction and mental health where self will becomes the worst enemy. This chapter have new hope and direction with this issue. We bought this book after hearing this. Thank you so much Father Nix. You mean a great deal to us.
Thank you, this is perfect timing, I lost my job, I have to leave the state of my birth, my family, and I know nobody where I am going. I have no choice but abandon myself to the will of the Lord, I pray I do so as perfectly as He wants me to.

Thank you. I am almost 100 % sure that I was called to be a religious but I said no😢. I regret it 40 years later. I made an error but I feel that God IS with me and is blessing me in my vocation as a wife and mother, just as much had I been a cloistered nun. I AM FREE, and Living the Divine Will. This is providential because I just recently heard about Fr. Ciszek in a new book called THY WILL BE DONE by Daniel O'Connor, and his telling of Fr Cizsek's testimony to ABANDONMENT, complete TRUST, in The Divine Providence...LIVING IN The Divine Will, not just doing it by himself. This is the New Evangelization to all Christians on earth.
MG W. Fr Bucci who used to serve Luisa Picararetta her food in her room in his childhood was a Capuchin priest. Luisa predicted his vocation as a young man. Fr Bucci stated that the only person who ever totally lived in the Divine Will was Luisa!! He passed away in his 80s on July 17, 2020. Sorry none of us is there yet, he also stated that we should be listening to priests only when studying the Divine Will as Fr Thomas B Celso often suggests as well. Just an FYI.
Hearing this again comes at a time when I feel more open to the conversion opportunity Father writes of. I think I left a comment then that it would be wonderful to have a reading of the entire book by you on Audible.

The same experience happened to me when I was 37 yrs. old I’m 75 now. I have been given so many gifts since then that unless a person had experienced similar gifts they might not belief me. If I ever meet you…..we’ll talk. We have to give ourselves completely. He’s real thru Mary. Enjoy my friend. I’m all in, merry christmas Lord

When I read the book a long time ago, I couldn't leave the book down. I could see Gods hand leading father Ciszek. I gained the strength to go on my spiritual journey. I felt love for him❤🙏

Thank you, Father David! Merry Christmas! Just saw this re-upload today (I had wondered why the last few TCE were out of order), but definitely perfect timing to hear this message! Please remember us in your prayers (now clergy in many dioceses throughout Canada are caving to vax pass only Mass, despite it being against Canon Law; we haven't gotten to that point yet, but we also are waiting to have a bishop appointed and in the meantime are rather fortunate for the administrator and canon lawyer/chancellor who are in charge); praying for a holy and faithful bishop. Beautiful, that is the only way to live. As a child growing up it seemed strange to be so concerned for oneself and to care more about oneself than others. But then somehow I became that way.
