@@tony1685you mean your bible that the Catholic Church put together? Also, you are following Protestant Christianity (one of many thousands of denominations). Catholic Christianity predates all Protestant denominations by at least 1500 years.
@@tony1685 The scriptures come from the universal (aka Catholic) church instituted by Christ 2000 years ago. Thousands of Protestant splinter denominations emerged only a few hundred years ago. They don’t even recognise the deuterocanonical books and follow poor translations (e.g., KJV) from the Greek, each person taking their own subjective interpretations without context and proper study. Quite the mess.
As a wife and mother of many children, I would love to start attending the TLM, but my husband isn't quite there yet. He is okay with going to the NO Mass for now. May I ask for tour prayers that one day our whole family will be able to attend the TLM.
We used to attend the TLM, but then there was a scandal there that caused my hubby to have a great disdain and it became an occasion of sin for him to go anymore. I love it, but now my family goes to a NO at our parish. We are super blessed to have our parish under the Norbertines of St Michaels Abbey in SoCal. Our NO Masses are truly a blessing. I sit in the back pew and practice TLM postures and quietly pray in Latin...at most of the Masses the prayers are prayed in Latin...Agnus Dei, Pater Noster, etc...or Greek, Kyrie. Once in awhile my daughter and I will go to the TLM while my hubby and son go to the NO. Our TLM has grown SO MUCH...the church is packed and people outside also participating over the loud speakers. May Our Lady grant you the graces you need and may she pour out upon your husband, and mine, the graces to follow God's divine will. +Amen
Start watching the Sspx TLM online. Take notice of the difference between the sermons you hear at a NO mass and a TLM mass. It is no use attending a TLM a a parish that does a NO as well because they would teach the New Theology. The Sspx priests will teach you the true Catholic Doctrines.
I had the same problem with my husband a few years ago. I would attend the TLM during the week but NO on Sunday because he is the head of the house. I prayed, sacrificed and led by example. After traveling out West and attending a Mass by a TLM priest doing a NO... because TLM was cnx by the Bishop...Latin was still used in many prayers and the priest's vestments were also Traditional. We walked out after Mass with my husband saying, "We've been robbed." I thank God every single day for that change of heart. We've been faithful TLM attendees for 2 years now. Deo Gratias! I will certainly pray for you and your situation.
Well said, The Truth is the Truth! I am old enough to remember packed Catholic churches pre 1965! AND honest and trustworthy people in all walks of life including politicians! I was a relatively new and young Altar Boy for the Latin Mass and suddenly it all changed. I remember thinking, “There’s really nothing for me to do anymore.” The beauty and reveeence was gone. I am blessed now to have two choices for the TLM within a half hour. Dominus vobiscum Et cum spiritu tuo

I was shocked at the service; I remember a well intense mass every Sunday "turn to page 'whatever in your bible." today the service was over in half an hour, I was shocked. It felt like I blinked and missed it. No hymns, 2 readings and 5-10 minutes from the Preist and The Holy Communion. What on earth happened to the church? Oh, apparently we are promoting gambling too. Only twice annually but I got a real bitter taste in my mouth hearing that. A sponsored walk which was pretty old school pleasing to me but.. I did see a few Bibles laying around and they weren't anything I'd ever seen before. It was 'a Bible for everyone' vibe. What about our culture and practices I grew up spending 20 years learning?
Do your best to change that. Have you looked for non-diocesan Masses? Is moving a possibility? If, having done your best, leave the rest to God. Beggars can’t be choosers. I went for three years without Mass, priest, Sacraments during the c-sickness. It took awhile but I found a Mass and small community. It’s three hour’s drive in good weather in another country. I save up for gas and tolls and go once a month. No, I can’t move. But I’m very thankful for having what I do after three years without.

God bless Candace Owens on her conversion to the Catholic Faith. Others may disagree, but my prayer is that Candace leaves the baggage of her podcasting controversies in the past and sets her eyes on our Lord in the Eucharist going forward. I found Shawn Ryan about a year ago. I have noticed he has been really reaching for answers in his faith. I think in one show he said he was catholic growing up, but left. Those words always break my heart. The podcast with his wife shows how he has struggled after his time with the seals, and what he has seen. I will never give up my beliefs on the church and her teachings. I will never surrender to the new way, and I will never accept what they are trying to do to our country. ,

The more this goes on the more in love I have become with the TLM. I’ve notice that my prayer and concentration are distracted in NO whereas in the LM I’m physically emotionally there. My mind body and soul are drawn into worship. It’s a totally different way of being at mass. My heart is full when I leave not saddened because I’ve struggled through and felt I gave nothing of my self in worship to our lord. I’m sticking to TLM

I know that we will be given those graces that we need for perseverance. And that God will raise more saints for His ranks. Thank you Rev. Fr. Nix. The Latin Mass was taken away from me when I was 10, just as I was learning the Latin to be an Altar Boy. I was reintroduced to the Usus Antiquior around 2008 ish, and now I’m steeped in a fantastic FSSP parish the last 8 years, so much so I could NEVER go back to the Novus Ordo. I accept Francis is occupying the Chair of Peter at this moment and I pray every day for his conversion and return to the capital C Church. Jesus promised us His Church and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it, but He didn’t promise us necessarily good Popes and Bishops. I have no intention to leave the Church but realize the Vatican II church has left (abandoned) me. The Usus Antiquior is a TRUE propitiation and sacrifice deserving for God, while the Novus Ordo mass is a community meal (tailgate party) that is narcissistic and protestant by design. I want nothing to do with the New (watered down) sacraments either. I liken the Usus Antiquior and Novus Ordo to the two first sacrifices made by Cain and Abel. Both were legitimate, but one was more pleasing to God than the other. Since Francis and the masonic modernist can’t physically kill all us Usus Antiquior lovers, as Cain killed Abel, the next best option is to kill the Usus Antiquior. It’s going to take Divine Intervention to right the ship. Thank you Father for your thoughts and comments on the matter, addressing the confusion that exists today. I believe the APE of the church is here and most people in it can’t see the forest for the trees.

I just read an article on Crisis Magazine that basically says we must accept the new face of the Catholic Church, the new ways of doing things in the Church, and we must wholeheartedly stand by Pope Francis because he's the Pope or we're bad Catholics. Thanks so for your valuable talk! I am resisting the direction this Pope is taking us. There is a Catholic bookstore that has Mass, Confession and adoration. It is affiliated with a large church where I live. I am going to attend there. I will contribute to their store/chapel. But I will no longer support the Church per se. The rest of my donations will go to St. Jude's Hospital for Children. Or similar places. I am very upset with what is happening in our church. But I have learned some protocol. I can say "Biden isn't my President." But I best not denounce the Pope in that way. Still, I will find low key ways to deal with the necessary sacraments. I am not participating in a regular way anymore. I am a convert, so I leave denouncing to better Catholics than I. And I am 72 so getting to these interest organizations with TLM is virtually impossible. But I will find a way to resist ... without embracing major sins. Despite your age, you can only see a glimpse of the True Church which has been eclipsed for so long. I remember the True Church. There was a time when most Catholics lived their Faith daily. Entire neighborhoods would be populated by parishioners. But now, after several generations of destruction I'am beginning to witness Her Resurrection. Listen, as a former Pentecostal feeling called to the Catholic Church, I want to encourage you. God tells us to pray Scripture back to Him. Jesus said, “I will build My Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” That’s a promise. Pray that back to Christ daily. He wants us to pray this way. Ask that the power of God will prevail today. We wrestle against the power of darkness, and the humans who represent it have no power against God. “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 ASV Pray for the church. Especially now. The gates of hell are poised against it, but the power and name of Jesus ALWAYS is victorious. All of the church is under attack in one way or another. All over the world. But if the Catholic Church fails, it will be worse for all of those who follow Jesus because Satan will have a greater stronghold. Right now, persecution against Christians is intense in many places. I always pray for the Church, but especially the Catholic Church.

Regarding Shawn Ryan, please watch his interview with Megyn Kelly. They’ve both left the Catholic religion because of their dislike of “the middle man” (having to go through a priest) to “reach “ God… Martin Luther must be smiling. If they could just understand the true presence of God in the Eucharist and the essential role a priest plays in it becoming the place where God resides; they would be drawn to the Catholic religion. Unfortunately, V2 has eliminated a lot of belief in the true presence just by lack of reverence.
We have a corrupt Vatican but that doesn’t change the fact that the Catholic Church is the one true church. I’m frustrated with the Church and I’m Catholic since I was baptized at 2 weeks. The Pope was elected and he won’t be around forever. We can only pray unceasingly for the Pope and the Church.
Being Catholic as my faith matures, the more my perspective is universal, that we are called to not be only one with God but with all people irregardless of their own beliefs, and all of God’s crwation. When you grow deeper and closer to Cheist, He Himself teaches you reverence to all in life and so we don’t need woke innivators.
Mary’s advice in the 16th century; Instead of bemoaning future problems, it would have been much more helpful if she told the popes and their inquisitors to stop torturing and burning “witches” and heretics to death.

I’m tired of being scared. I’m a Roman Centurion, i was at Waterloo with Napoleon. I am one of 3 adopted sons of David Crockett in San Antonio De Baja (FACTS). I am a Civil War soldier, I was Company C Bugler with Custer (look it up) at that damn Indian war in the plains… I am a third generation soldier of the United States. I will continue to serve my country I believe in the father son and the Holy Spirit. I believe in baptism…. I believe in the family that I put around me. I pray for the family I’ve driven away. I was a relatively new and young Altar Boy for the Latin Mass and suddenly it all changed. I remember thinking, “There’s really nothing for me to do anymore.” The beauty and reveeence was gone.
I am blessed now to have two choices for the TLM within a half hour.

Oh, apparently we are promoting gambling too. Only twice annually but I got a real bitter taste in my mouth hearing that. A sponsored walk which was pretty old school pleasing to me but..
I did see a few Bibles laying around and they weren't anything I'd ever seen before. It was 'a Bible for everyone' vibe. What about our culture and practices I grew up spending 20 years learning?

Do your best to change that. Have you looked for non-diocesan Masses? Is moving a possibility? If, having done your best, leave the rest to God. Beggars can’t be choosers. I went for three years without Mass, priest, Sacraments during the
c-sickness. It took awhile but I found a Mass and small community. It’s three hour’s drive in good weather in another country. I save up for gas and tolls and go once a month. No, I can’t move. But I’m very thankful for having what I do after three years without.

I found Shawn Ryan about a year ago. I have noticed he has been really reaching for answers in his faith. I think in one show he said he was catholic growing up, but left. Those words always break my heart. The podcast with his wife shows how he has struggled after his time with the seals, and what he has seen. I will never give up my beliefs on the church and her teachings. I will never surrender to the new way, and I will never accept what they are trying to do to our country.

I have read that the young priest are more traditional. That gives me hope and I see God acting in that.
The more this goes on the more in love I have become with the TLM. I’ve notice that my prayer and concentration are distracted in NO whereas in the LM I’m physically emotionally there. My mind body and soul are drawn into worship. It’s a totally different way of being at mass. My heart is full when I leave not saddened because I’ve struggled through and felt I gave nothing of my self in worship to our lord. I’m sticking to TLM
Imagine the faithful that wanted to give up while Rome was being sacked and altars were being desecrated in 1527. We have lots to be thankful for.

This is an outstanding clip, I've been observing this division of novus ordo versus TLM, this video gives clarity to that observation with the reminder , we are Catholic and apostolic. Well, in the early days, house churches is what they had when they had to worship in secret.

Thank you Rev. Fr. Nix. The Latin Mass was taken away from me when I was 10, just as I was learning the Latin to be an Altar Boy. I was reintroduced to the Usus Antiquior around 2008 ish, and now I’m steeped in a fantastic FSSP parish the last 8 years, so much so I could NEVER go back to the Novus Ordo. I accept Francis is occupying the Chair of Peter at this moment and I pray every day for his conversion and return to the capital C Church. Jesus promised us His Church and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it, but He didn’t promise us necessarily good Popes and Bishops.
I have no intention to leave the Church but realize the Vatican II church has left (abandoned) me. The Usus Antiquior is a TRUE propitiation and sacrifice deserving for God, while the Novus Ordo mass is a community meal (tailgate party) that is narcissistic and protestant by design. I want nothing to do with the New (watered down) sacraments either. I liken the Usus Antiquior and Novus Ordo to the two first sacrifices made by Cain and Abel. Both were legitimate, but one was more pleasing to God than the other. Since Francis and the masonic modernist can’t physically kill all us Usus Antiquior lovers, as Cain killed Abel, the next best option is to kill the Usus Antiquior. It’s going to take Divine Intervention to right the ship.

I just read an article on Crisis Magazine that basically says we must accept the new face of the Catholic Church, the new ways of doing things in the Church, and we must wholeheartedly stand by Pope Francis because he's the Pope or we're bad Catholics. I'm glad I didn't subscribe to them but I am a new subscriber here.

Thanks so for your valuable talk! I am resisting the direction this Pope is taking us. There is a Catholic bookstore that has Mass, Confession and adoration. It is affiliated with a large church where I live.
I am going to attend there. I will contribute to their store/chapel. But I will no longer support the Church per se. The rest of my donations will go to St. Jude's Hospital for Children. Or similar places.
I am very upset with what is happening in our church. But I have learned some protocol. I can say "Biden isn't my President." But I best not denounce the Pope in that way. Still, I will find low key ways to deal with the necessary sacraments. I am not participating in a regular way anymore.
I am a convert, so I leave denouncing to better Catholics than I. And I am 72 so getting to these interest organizations with TLM is virtually impossible. But I will find a way to resist ... without embracing major sins.

Listen, as a former Pentecostal feeling called to the Catholic Church, I want to encourage you. God tells us to pray Scripture back to Him. Jesus said, “I will build My Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” That’s a promise. Pray that back to Christ daily. He wants us to pray this way.
Ask that the power of God will prevail today. We wrestle against the power of darkness, and the humans who represent it have no power against God.

Pray for the church. Especially now. The gates of hell are poised against it, but the power and name of Jesus ALWAYS is victorious. All of the church is under attack in one way or another. All over the world. But if the Catholic Church fails, it will be worse for all of those who follow Jesus because Satan will have a greater stronghold. Right now, persecution against Christians is intense in many places.

Regarding Shawn Ryan, please watch his interview with Megyn Kelly. They’ve both left the Catholic religion because of their dislike of “the middle man” (having to go through a priest) to “reach “ God… Martin Luther must be smiling. If they could just understand the true presence of God in the Eucharist and the essential role a priest plays in it becoming the place where God resides; they would be drawn to the Catholic religion. Unfortunately, V2 has eliminated a lot of belief in the true presence just by lack of reverence.

We have a corrupt Vatican but that doesn’t change the fact that the Catholic Church is the one true church. I’m frustrated with the Church and I’m Catholic since I was baptized at 2 weeks. The Pope was elected and he won’t be around forever. We can only pray unceasingly for the Pope and the Church.
