Here is a list of symptoms to watch out for to know if your gums are healthy:
- bleeding: you should never bleed from the gums, if this is the case it means there is a wound to disinfect
⚠️ be careful, this symptom can be masked for smokers, and in cases of a very advanced disease
- gum recession or loosening of teeth
- tooth mobility
- pain in the gums
- bad smell of the breath
Good news: all these symptoms are reversible and can disappear as long as you come to see a periodontist
