I wanted a bit more flair with my Volrath deck, so I added a handful of helpful Oozes and Shapeshifters and relate my deck to "The Thing". In this case, I not only have combo outs in my deck, but the ability to take or copy powerful key pieces of an opponent's strategy and hit them with their own things...but better.
Jonah's Avenger is one of the only blue creatures that has double stroke on it, also "king of jank," explored even crazier territory using: karn, liquidmetal coating and turning volrath into other planeswalers aswell.
Yeah, Volrath has a lot of jank he can do, even turning into planeswalkers with some extra hoops. I focused on only a few of the combos for the sake of cohesiveness and power. Tomer, in celebration of the International Women's day set, I'd like to see a budget deck built around one of the Legendary Ladies printed in that Secret Lairs Drop - Narset, Enlightened Master, Captain Sissay, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Saskia the Unyielding, or Oona, Queen of the Fae.
I had a friend who joked it was only a matter of time until I built an infect deck. After that, I jammed about 10 infect creatures into my my Volrath deck and let's just say there's a reason I said I "had," not "have" a friend.
Wait, why don't we also get the gameplay video you used???? I wanna see this deck in action! It's the only way I'd actually be willing to buy this deck. But it does look neat in concept. I did forget that volrath said counters, not -1/-1 counters. And that makes hungry dino hilarious

Just wanted to call out that these videos have been super impressive and in particular the infinite mana combo part and just changing Volrath each time made the video much more enjoyable to watch and easy to follow, so keep it up!
Are you sure The Jodah’s Avenger/Blighted Agent combo would work? If it turns into Blighted, he no longer has double strike because he’s not Jodah’s. Thoughts?
I'm gonna use the opportunity to ONCE AGAIN request that Crim record intro's and outro's using the same script Tomer and Seth do. I want it feeling like PBS in this bitch.
The deck has a heavy +1/+1 Counter theme, running plenty of ways to consistently put +1/+1 counters on our creatures. I explain it later in the video and in the article. I definitely should've covered that part first before going on to combos though to avoid confusion. That's my mistake.

It's also fair to mention that with Liquimetal Coating and Karn the Great Creator Volrath can become a copy of any permanent in play.

I am not sure I understand the infinite combo with pili Pala, Pala is a 1-1 and so when you put a counter on it to become it, it dies first

I don't know how feasible this Commander is, but Shauku, Endbringer seems like it has a really high ceiling.
