    Do you take out the crumb tray always when using pass thru?

    • @PGHATCO
      @PGHATCO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The crumb tray needs to remain inside the Glowforge during pass thru because the height lines up with the pass thru openings.

    Great work! I’ve seen some folks complain about the alignment on pass through with a Forge. Have you had any issues with it not aligning properly?

    • @PGHATCO
      @PGHATCO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! No issues here. We made two decorative glass door overlays for our outside cabinet with the pass-through. It was lined up ready for the next job and our son bumped it. Cancelled the second job and it took new photos and realigned the job flawlessly.

    Can you help me with sharing a cut file to try this out?

    This turned out beautifully! Could you have used the leftover pieces to make an identical but reversed version of the same sign?

      Good point. Could have for sure and did think about it.

    Bro, you got some skills. I'm pretty sure you can make a k40 budget laser work.

    • @PGHATCO
      @PGHATCO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well hey I appreciate that. Not familiar with that budget laser but I am pretty sure I could make it work ;)

      @@PGHATCO let me introduce you to the k40. Whenever you turn it on you always think "Am I going to survive this shiz?" It's a 300-500$ laser cutter with 8x12ish bed. The machine is actively trying to kill you.

    great work, would love to have a laser machine, but 4 thousand for something should only cost 1200, naw

      Thanks. Not many types of equipment or machines you can buy these days for 1200 unfortunately.
