Clubbing and dancing, no cell phones, no social media, just hanging out with friends and spending weekends dancing the night away in Night Clubs that never slept.

Hey Mr. Video! Some advice about your new guitar: Here’s a list of things you need to do to start jamming a way: 1) You have an electric guitar, so you need to plug it into an amp to be able to play it. You’ll need to purchase an amp. Just search up guitar amp buying guide on TH-cam and that’ll help you find the right amp. I would suggest going to a nearby guitar store and trying out their amps to see if one works for you. 2) You’ll need to purchase picks to strum with (they’re VERY cheap, like 25¢ a pick), and a tuner to tune your guitar with (those are cheap too) 3) Check our guitar lessons on TH-cam (MartyMusic is my favorite) or check out Fender.com’s Free lessons for 3 months program (I’ve used it before, it’s really helpful for beginners) Then you’re ready to start jamming! Play just 10 mins a day and you’ll be on your way to becoming a great guitarist!
Don't forget petals unless amp has built in distortion. I recommend if shopping on a budget to check pawn shops or marketplace. You can also now just download a guitar tuner app on your phone.

I remember being a kiddo and seeing this playing on the tv in a record store and I was 😲. 38 years later it IS still a banger. The singer with the wild hair is now completely bald....but still performing..
THE EIGHTIES WERE THE GREATEST DECADE EVER Music was cool and we didn’t need to say nasty things on the lyrics I’m really blessed that I was young and experienced all the magic 😜👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The Scorpions - Rock you like a hurricane is all about sex Billy Idol - Rebel Yell was all about having sex with a girl Eddy Murphy - Party all the time was about cocaine. 80s had some great bangers but there were MANY songs that had nasty things back then, they just hid it better back then
I loved the 80s too, but if you didn't hear nasty things, it's because you weren't really listening. *So* many 80's hits had dirty lyrics, some worse than today, but I didn't catch a lot of them as a child (some were blatantly obvious even to an 8-year-old). But don't worry, the kids of today aren't catching on any better than you did.
@@mikevsworldofficial He's talking about foul language and explicit things. Those songs you mentioned are not that. The sex and coke was implied. It wasn't crude and in your face like today.

It took me just a few years of my long life to learn that if love can't make the world go around, music could. I've found musical soulmates from each genre. My dad gave me the love of music. He's been gone 13 years now, and I still do as he did. Maybe watch an hour of tv, but the other 23 hours is always music.
Oh, my goodness! Thank you so much for reacting to this. So many great memories flooded back hearing it. Your reaction to it, as always, made me smile.
I loved hearing all those amazing 80's songs. There's so MANY different types of songs from that era and the 90's. People were seriously experimental. That's why there's such a HUGE variety of sound.

Ah, the 2nd British Invasion of the 80s: Duran Duran, Human League, Culture Club, The Police, Eurythmics, Yaz, Depeche Mode, Bowie (round 2), New Order, etc., etc., etc. The other song I like by Flock of Seagulls is "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)". I remember being a kiddo and seeing this playing on the tv in a record store and I was 😲. 38 years later it IS still a banger. The singer with the wild hair is now completely bald....but still performing..
THE EIGHTIES WERE THE GREATEST DECADE EVER
Music was cool and we didn’t need to say nasty things on the lyrics
I’m really blessed that I was young and experienced all the magic 😜👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The Scorpions - Rock you like a hurricane is all about sex
Billy Idol - Rebel Yell was all about having sex with a girl
Eddy Murphy - Party all the time was about cocaine.
I'm from Texas....the crowds I hung out with back then weren't used to seeing and hearing things like this...we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Mr Video is gettin it to a flock of seagulls!!!!!! My day has been made complete!!!!! YAAAS🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
SO COOL!! getting deep into eighties new wave territory now this and a song of their's called "wishing i had a photograph of you" was on a lot of 80s playlists and walkmans. cool switch up on reactions man keep up the great reactions and keeping it eclectic. ; )
Try Visage fade to grey for very 80s British synth pop/ new wave
It took me just a few years of my long life to learn that if love can't make the world go around, music could. I've found musical soulmates from each genre. My dad gave me the love of music. He's been gone 13 years now, and I still do as he did. Maybe watch an hour of tv, but the other 23 hours is always music.
Getting into the 80's 😁
Oh, my goodness! Thank you so much for reacting to this. So many great memories flooded back hearing it. Your reaction to it, as always, made me smile.
Mr V - you are right, a classic, epic song that honors the 80s sound!
I loved hearing all those amazing 80's songs. There's so MANY different types of songs from that era and the 90's. People were seriously experimental. That's why there's such a HUGE variety of sound.
Taking me back to my youth. Always liked this song, gets stuck in your head!
that was a freaking wild reaction!! Love it!! 🎶🔥♥️
Definitely a banger. Ahhh, the 80's! What a time, lol!
OMG!!!! The memories!!! This song was played so much on the radio and MTV back in day! My friends and I would literally be dancing in the car going down the road.
golden earring, twilight zone .. youll love it.
Yaaass
Oh great request! Banger for who!
God I love your reactions! I just spent the entire video with a big smile on my face watching you enjoy the song. Its so awesome seeing you appreciate some of my favorite music. 80s music is so underrated sometimes
But I *_HIGHLY_* suggest "Situation" by Yaz and "Let's Dance" by David Bowie. Both of those songs are legendary.
A Flock Of Seagulls doesnt get any more 80's. The hair, the makeup, that synth. This is just 🔥🔥 Love to see you vibing to this one.
Esta canción la e escuchado recién hace dos semanas y me a fascinado como mrd . Cuando salgo con mi bicicleta la pongo en mi parlante y la gente aveces me pregunta que canción es y digo no soy el único milenal al que le gusta esta canción épica csmre
I envy you. You my friend have only scratched the surface. So happy to have found this channel.
Sticking with 80's do The Promise by "When In Rome" . Best love song and bass line ever. Also has some great piano, and harmonies
YES!
I'm watching your musical journey Mr. Video, you are a true lover of music! I love watching the excitement you show when a great tune is played!

Kajagogo WHAT WHAT you hit pay dirt with that one fam. One of my favorite all-time songs and videos I thought that dude was so cool good suggestion... 🤘🏾💯
Nice video choice! This video came out when MTV was just getting stared. The band, being from Europe, did not know exactly what was expected. They had a relatively small amount of money to make video. Most was spent on their shirts. lol
Although, back in the 80’s, weed was no where near as popular as cocaine. So I’ve heard. Just sayin’
So true!! 😂 *weed was all dirt weeds, stems and sticks. But cocaine was pure! Pink Peruvian was awesome, when you could get it!! 😃 *** so I've been told. 😂😂
@@monicamad1285 I have no idea what your talking about... 🌳👀🌳 lol! 🤣❤
S*** you're forgetting about masculine 😝🤣
@@christymearna3912 mescaline?
Not in my circles.....best weed out there as well as weekends with Mr. Leary drug of choice 😏
I was in high school and college from 1980-1987....this alternative 80s music from England (not mainstream bubble gum pop from Madonna, Whitney, or MJ) was my world. I also loved INXS from Australia. The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxie and The Banshees, Yazoo, The Cult, The Ramones, Psychedelic Furs, Peter Murphy....love it!!
The 80s, yo! One helluva rabbit hole. (Cocaine is a helluva drug!) 💖🌠💖
LOL Kelly 😂
You got me all nostalgic now...got the 80s vibe going...that's a very deep rabbit hole mate👍✌️
Did you run so far away? This was so weird and fun when it came out
Have you seen Depeche Mode personal Jesus, yet ?
I loved your reaction- I always loved this song☺I saw them in their heyday, during the early to mid 80's, during Spring break in Daytona Beach, Florida- great show!! Keep up the great work!!

Still hopin for The Bad Touch, man. Maybe one day. Try to stay in your van down by the river so I can hopefully find ya if/when it happens! 💖
@@gotsnogroovecheryl I know...me too! But after requesting it on every video for weeks and weeks, ya start to think maybe he just doesn't want to do it...plus, now the weather is turning colder and my van is cold...brrrrrr
LOL! I saw A Flock of Seagulls and the Go-Gos on tour when I was about 14 or 15. Before that I saw Billy Idol during his first tour of the US and he was about three feet away from me. My very first concert was Elvis when I was about six. I pestered my parents like crazy to get tickets to see him. My friend caught one of his scarves, a yellow one, and I was so jealous! I still am to be perfectly honest.
Hahaha my son (oldest one) found out a long time ago not only I like this song but even so I had my hair like a peacock (a thing back then and it was the Aqua Net hairspray at that 😂) so he use to call me A Flock of Peacock 😂😂😂😂😂
So u doing a 80's vibe

🔥When you're ready for your
3rd Rush song make SURE it is:
Rush - "YYZ" (Live in Rio)
That audience really is the best audience EVER. They were insane!
@@RUSHChick Audience was LIT & you could tell that Rush was having so much fun jamming. Video makes me smile every time I see it. 🙂
that guitarist paul reynolds was 19 here. only 17 when he was hired . i was 15 at this time and loved classic rock, wasnt into the new sounds of 80s cheese. it grew on me more after i turned 32-35. at this point i'd agree this song is a banger.
Since her doing some 80s music plz do Big Country "In a big country "
You just keep taking me through my youth my friend, thank you soooooo much
