Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you'll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

Great video, I love the regular DS videos but it's good to have a mix. Enjoyed the recent one meeting the team in Mexico also. I'm definitely not intermediate when it comes to speaking but I understood about 80-90% of that so slowly slowly, it's working. Thank you Pablo y Alma.

Does Alma write scripts for other professors as well? Or what kind of "guiones" was she referring to?
For now just for her own videos.
I always had a feeling that Alma is responsible for devising many of the creative ideas of other professors. If you look at Alma’s content, you’ll notice that other professors have done their own versions of her videos.
Maybe the “guiones” she’s referring to are guide templates for other professors to use to create their own content.

Pero este solo es Intermedio, no va a ser muy natural. Si quieres algo más natural, hay los videos avansados y tambien hay otros canales como No Hay Tos.
@@santiagotumulo6783 gracias por responder. Y comprendo que esto es una conversación "intermedia" entre dos personas de España donde utiliizan el "ostras!" y terminan una oración con un "¿no?" Lo cual es confuso en mi opinión aun entre personas hispano-hablantes ¿Es pregunta o es una declaración? 😂 Eso aunado a los gestos y la conversacion lenta y sobre articulada que me pareció teátrica la charla, y muy poco natural: como si le estuviesen hablando a personas con limitaciones cognotivas. Obvio cada profesor tiene su estilo y eso es algo muy personal. :-) Solo quize compartir mis comentarios. Gracias por El espacio para compartir. @@veromoreno-diaz Entiendo lo que quieres decir, pero para mí fue una gran conversación intermedia, en la que se habló de algo más que de cosas básicas, sino de pensamientos, sentimientos, cosas que le gustaban, que no le gustaban, tanto en el pasado como en el presente y en el futuro. También tenía un gran contexto para un alumno intermedio.
@@veromoreno-diaz I’m a fairly intelligent 60 year old but just learning Spanish so in a way I feel I AM cognitively impaired. The slower speeds, theatrical gestures, repetition are very helpful for me. They reinforce memory and build confidence. It seems to mimic the way one would teach an infant. That said, I also appreciate the thousands of videos, addressing different levels, that are an attempt to meet different people where they are at.
