Might be easy bass, but no one did it better than Dusty Hill....he never claimed or set out to be the next Jaco, he just made the best blues based rock on the planet! RIP Dusty

Simple is better. Less is more. Most times just two simple chords will make people move more than some complicated thing. Dusty had rhythm in spades and barbecue sauce on his fingers. So slick.

Hi - You are just a hair behind the melody. I had to learn to play just a fraction of a second ahead of the melody playing tuba in a 7 man line up marching band back in 1989. *7 tubas in the marching band* Anyway..thanks for posting the vid. Hope you are better now.
Hello Paul first of all I’m enjoying learning tablature from you,right now I’m really into ZZ Top and a song I’d like to learn is Flying High I play with a pick only cause of medical reasons but however I’m ready for that song is so cool and easy I’m sure but unfortunately I just can’t pick up songs on my own very well but when I see it I can do it pretty much,So I think I’m asking is there a chance you could please do Flying High I would truly be thankful ,anyway thanks for everything you do for everyone with all your video postings, Thanks again and take care Paul🎸

It's not even that easy lol, the frets might be easy but the stamina to play like a metronome will cramp up even the most experienced hands.

You can get the same synth bass effect by playing on a bass with active pickups,,just turn up the gain. I get the same effect with that.
Simple bass line. The trick is keeping steady time.
