I'm thinking and TECHNICALLY this is possible base game? It's just so much harder. Iron can be acquired from zombies. Copper from drowned. Gold from pigs if you allow natural mobs. Lava... that's the hard part. You either need villages or another mod that can create it. Like the new Create: New Age add on. Though I need to look at the recipes in that again for the solar panel and heat pipe for that to be viable. Zinc is the only other issue I can think of besides natural wood. As with one more add on, Create: Ore Excavation. You can renewably finally get zinc and other ores allowing for actual progression. The issue is to get there you need zinc to make the large 25 5x5 crafting grid. And 4 blocks of brass + extra sheets and casings. Making the entire thing cost about a stack of brass. In other words half a stack of zinc. Honestly this is a great idea though and I'll look into doing it without the shop.
So. I gave it a closer look and the main barrier is Zinc. I'm shrinking this because I've found corrections to the other issues I've noticed but Zinc is one I cannot get past. If you're willing to use the off brand sifting add on it is possible but that's an entire branch add on if you just want base create it is not currently possible without editing in a recipe for Zinc. You can build a fairly successful modded survival world including other modded resources so long as they process from vanilla. without modifying existing recipes or putting in a shop or other mechanic to allow the input of new resources outside of processing existing resources. Still will likely try your pack now that I've learned this because celestial feces this is a time intensive process outside of what I've done for testing and my work schedule does not allow these challenge runs anymore. But just so everyone knows. It is possible with a single addon =)
@@N0FoxGiven No I understand, I didn’t read it clearly lol. Don’t forget water can also generate in Stronholds sometimes, does create not modify any existing loot_tables in the nether/end dimensions? As in the bastions, fortress chests?
Ima try this rq Update: second 1 and I found a village, for some reason my world was set as plains. I just recreated it, went to customize the superflat world and changed the biome to ocean.
I mainly chose that biome as no animals spawn in, but through some further testing I discovered that villages also don’t generate either even though I enabled structures. I just find that villages kind of ruin the superflat experience, especially if it’s modded.
16:00 I am so curious if it's 50% on player kill or on death in general cause if it's in general then you can make a LOT of money with a mob farm. lol Heck, even if not, if you make a simple mob farm and the area around unspawnable (very easy on superflat) then you can just make a massive mob grinder and funnel all of the drops into the exporter to make mad bank super quickly.
The renewable items should be more costly so that you could only hope to buy one and produce rest like saplings which should be bought once(like you do with the traders) and so it forces you to grow the rest not buy
Actually, it is entirely possible XD. It is probable to get blaze rods with as little as 1 block of bedrock. (But you need a bit more to do it in hardcore due to mob spawning conditions)

Including zinc. Meaning you can continue the challenge. Adding on other mods and add-ons like Create: Ore excavation, Ars Nouveau, Create: New Age. Etc.
This modpack will be two first for me. One, it ill be my first flat world and two, it will be my first hardcore game.
Ima try this rq
Update: second 1 and I found a village, for some reason my world was set as plains. I just recreated it, went to customize the superflat world and changed the biome to ocean.
Ocean biome was an interesting choice
I mainly chose that biome as no animals spawn in, but through some further testing I discovered that villages also don’t generate either even though I enabled structures.
I just find that villages kind of ruin the superflat experience, especially if it’s modded.
16:00 I am so curious if it's 50% on player kill or on death in general cause if it's in general then you can make a LOT of money with a mob farm. lol
Heck, even if not, if you make a simple mob farm and the area around unspawnable (very easy on superflat) then you can just make a massive mob grinder and funnel all of the drops into the exporter to make mad bank super quickly.

The renewable items should be more costly so that you could only hope to buy one and produce rest like saplings which should be bought once(like you do with the traders) and so it forces you to grow the rest not buy
Playing ur mod pack now my only wish is u would add an excavate mod
feedback: pleace reduce the amount of colors in your quest text. it is a bit much.
Noted.
:)
Imagine he added more colors, lol.

... To assert dominance! "Nobody tells me what to do!!!"
you sound like some sort of mix between Grian, Mumbo, and Scar.
I have issue with world generation. I dont have large ocean biome. Just regular plains with villages and passive mobs
Actually, it is entirely possible XD. It is probable to get blaze rods with as little as 1 block of bedrock. (But you need a bit more to do it in hardcore due to mob spawning conditions)
unlimited money , buy 9 iron nuggets for 900 , make a bar , and sell for 1000. 100 profit :D
lol…
True but it’ll take awhile
Your voice reminds me of a mix of Mumbo Jumbo and Stampylonghead even the humor 😂 this is meant in a nice way btw.
Nice
