    Such a good feeling when a client is hyped up on their mods. Keep up the good work!

    Such a simple recipe that provides excellent results. It's great seeing the owner's reaction and hearing his thoughts in his own words.

    Amazing work and setup! Love the M2 platform so far, the car is a beast.
    The owner's reaction reminds me my reaction when I first installed h&r sport springs and a good alignment on my e90 😅

    Awesome video. Definitely one of my favorite shops to buy parts (haribo gummies) for all my bimmers.

    Do you have a bump-steer (toe) curve of the OEM rear suspension vs the one after your tuning ?

    As a student studying mechanical engineering I’m super fascinated in how you guys measure the arms and calculate how to set up the car. I’m not sure what the official title for that position would be (I assume and alignment technician or engineer?) but I really really want to learn to this and would love some video explains some of this stuff man!

      I think the name is a kinematic engineer

      There is a surprising amount of chassis engineering info you can find online and right here on youtube. Learning the basics is key and knowing what does what, but eventually you need to start putting the rubber to the road and realizing how changes gives you want you want behind the wheel. For BimmerWorld, our shop guys ARE our race team guys so we have a LOT of extremely intelligent people that have all sorts of backgrounds and decades of experience to get all our cars setup right out of the box and get the car honed in so that only little changes are needed at the track for our customers.
      We'll think about covering some more technical details on chassis setup in the future - each car is different so its a little tough to get specific, but learning the general basics goes a long way!

      @@BimmerWorldMedia Thanks so much I know the basic but I have no idea about what all, SPL arms allows you to change on the vehicle and there seems to be a lot from bump steer to roll center and other stuff as well. I’ll definitely do more reading to see if I can get a singular list of adjustments that can be done.

    Just an odd part that I noticed when he mentioned the spring rates near the end of the video he said 7 in the rear and 8 up front. Was that in kg/mm or lbs/in? I know the new M2s are about 3800 lbs and can easily approach 4000+ with a driver and cage and I my first thought was that 8 KG is not nearly enough spring.

    What is a "wet strut"?

    • @BimmerWorldMedia
      @BimmerWorldMedia  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "Wet strut" meaning its a monotube design with internal oil where the piston is located.

    hello, is that GT4 wheels??

    • @BimmerWorldMedia
      @BimmerWorldMedia  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you are speaking of the gold wheels, those are actually some BimmerWorld specific wheels we've been working on for a while. Not yet released, but we've been going through testing on a few project cars and they are soon to be released! Stay tuned!!!

    Could anyone give me a range of what something like this would cost? I cannot afford it right now but I am curious for the future

    Paid promotion from MCS 🤔😂
    Great video though 👍🏼

      Definitely not a paid ad at all from MCS. We've been using MCS for over a decade from our pro race cars to shop projects, customer builds, or even our street vehicles. We love their stuff and they very frequently are the answer to give the results we or our customer are looking for.

    Wanting top perfromance vs being my daily... how "still comfortable" is the ride? Will the wife hate being a passenger? hahaha

    • @BimmerWorldMedia
      @BimmerWorldMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Surprisingly comfy. The owner even mentioned he was surprised how it doesn't beat you up at all on the street and it feels amazing on the track.
