I absolutely LOVE that layout at Bedford, it's the one motorcycles use and as you say, the chicane at the end of the back straight into the mega fast left is just fantastic!!!
Once you pull the back seats out and start lightening it up, those suspension and braking mods pay bigger dividends. I replaced the front seats with QRT-K, weighing in at 12lbs with harness along with pulling the rears out. Thing feels light!
Love it Joe. My mate Kev just got his M3 xDrive in the same spec as yours and it unbelievable. If you are ever on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, hit us up. We’ll show you some great driving roads.
Ok this is Steve Maynard,, I too have a 2020 M2 comp that is straight factory set up but I did install a Valvetronic rear exhaust. It has just under 30 k miles since July,2019. Used as a Daily and extended Road trips, However, already planning to replace with a 2023/24 g87 version in Orange(?) rather than Black Sapphire of current,, I rarely would ever miss one of ur BMW POSTINGS on You tube 🗳,, Cool send my prize and Continue Inspiring ur Fans. Steve Maynard
Great to see your channel getting bigger, more M2 content and of course the legends Russ and Tim at Swift Performance. Love the work that those guys do, they are my go to for my M cars
Boxster, bringing new meaning to the “Porsche line”… @joe car is absolutely MEGA and I’d love to have a similar setup eventually. Makes me wonder will you be doing an in depth road review? I feel many would be especially interested to hear if you have any knocks, clunks or bangs introduced with the lack of rubber bushings. In essence; looking at how liveable the mods are, as many of us daily and track out F8x cars. Another good video. Already looking forward to the next one.
Would love to know the parts + installation cost budget for this exact package of M2 Comp suspension & braking system upgrade. Thank you Joe. Nice project elevating M2 handling performance.
What a machine, it’s like watching a movie, I enjoyed this video from start to the end, I had was to replay @time 17:45 like 10 times lol, great job Joe👏🙌, keep these videos coming.
Awesome!! Love builds like this. I know you don't need much aero for the tracks we have in the UK however on the nordschleife that would be another story, so i was just wondering if you plan on adding any aero to it in the future. Maybe a spicy Schirmer wing? 😅😅
Amazing upgrades. This is going to be a dream clubsport build. Seats has got to be the next upgrade though. They should make a massive improvement, and save a bit of weight.
I don't watch many car mod videos (more into my motorbikes) but this is great! I'm looking forward to following your journey with your M2 Comp. I'll be on two wheels at Bedford next week, can't wait 😊
Lovely setup!! I'd bet you'd prefer a different pad than RS29, yes they don't wear much but they only feel good for a the first few hour or so. I'd also put the new cup 2 on the back too, keep the old ones as spares. Fresh tyres on all 4 corners is the way to do it, esp if you're going to try getting a lap time. Looking forward to seeing the track vid!!
What are your thoughts on EBC pads compared to Pagid? I have only used EBC Orange stuff front and BlueStuff back on my C63S and I love them. The C63S is a heavy heavy car for track days, but the stopping power of the EBCs really helps! I have worn them all out after 6 track days; should I try Pagid or stick to EBC? I must say they were long track days, up to 100km, so I don’t think they wore out quickly. And this is Mexico, track temps are brutal, around 50 Celsius or more
Great video Joe. Can't wait to watch the upcoming stages as well. Also looking foward to a ride along with Robert from Heel and Toe channel in his M3 for a nice aggressive rip around the Ring. I'll never forget the ride along with you and Misha in the backseat. The nonstop nervous laughter from you had me dying. I'm hoping a ride with Robert will produce the same. Enjoy that M2!
Joe, has the new suspension liven up the steering feel? I'm an E46 M3 owner, previously on coilovers, now on OEM suspension, and I've tried the M2C and M4C recently as I'm willing to sell the E46 and get an F8x M car. I can cope with all of the disadvantages people talk about beside the dead steering feel - I drove the M4C on track and the only information on understeer were the tire squeek and TC blocking me off, no information through the steering wheel at all. In the E46 it's almost immediate to get any sort of feedback on the steering wheel, the seat and the whole chassis. Great video, as always!
Great to see you enjoying mods Joe - come a long way from the ‘I like things stock’ days of the OG M2 😂. Once you start upgrading the oily bits, you move things up another level. Could another ring trip to Apex be on the cards? 😉
Another great and interesting video Joe. Great content, more like this buddy 🙏 Your M2 Comp coming along as a track monster 👌👏 is a trip to the nordschleife beckoning?
Those laps look awesome. Just one observation, when you drop from 4th to second, you could just go 4 to 2. It’s a bit pointless putting it in third in between
Awesome as always buddy! Car is/and will be great! Have you considered installing other swaybars? Also have you looked into the CAE shifter? Also that 718 drivers :D
Great video Joe, I’ve got my name down for the New M2, but I’ve been looking at current M2 CS and now like your M2 C and modding like you. Daily with occasional track days - what do you reckon - which one? 🤔
Great video! Doing it the wright way first the brakes and the suspension, the rest comes later. Do you have plans to go to the Nürburgring and take Misha for a lap?
Joe I just wanted to find out, what’s your verdict on the new m2 feeling now after upgrading your current spec 😂👀? Did it feel as good as this does now?
Huge thanks once again to Russ and Swift Performance - swiftperformance.co.uk/
This is awesome!!
We've missed this car on the channel
Glad it's back, will be on loads more this summer...
FACT
😂this car got so much trac...... as the back end steps out - great save. Looking forward to more upgrades, thanks again Joe.
🤣🤣🤣 Was chuckling to myself whilst editing that section 😂🫣
Love the fact you push the car, and show the wobbles as well. Great driver Joe, top video as always
A pleasure to watch. Great to see an actual build being filmed.
I absolutely LOVE that layout at Bedford, it's the one motorcycles use and as you say, the chicane at the end of the back straight into the mega fast left is just fantastic!!!
You deserve that much fun Joe. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Cool to have that combination of road and track! Perfect car for it.
Can't wait for the finished car now 😬
Looks so good to drive! Congrats on the mods and setup.
Awesome petrolhead content!
Cheers bro 👊
Great to see Russ getting some coverage. Great guy who goes above and beyond with his customers.
So glad you've gone all out on this car. Was worried you would leave it too long and fall out of love with it
Great stuff Joe. Shame the same can’t be said about the 718 Spyder drivers ability 😬
Cheers man! Yeah thankfully not seen much driving like that before, it got worse but didn't want to completely shame him on here 😬
That was shocking driving from the Boxster driver. Track limits mate!😆🤡
Seems legit…..what have I won?
Joe, you’re killing me man! I pick up my M2 Comp tomorrow and your channel is like a petrol heads guide to bankruptcy 😂 keep up the good work!
😂😂😂😂🫣👊👏
Yet to track my car Joe but this give me the feels! Those brakes look fantastic.
Do it ;-)
@@JoeAchilles1 😆
Hi Joe, Congrats on your piece in the August issue of evo magazine!! Great to see you there.
Composure, turn in and braking looks next level !
Never clicked on a video so quick!!! I know it’s going to be a banger!
Haha hope you enjoy it mate, we need to get out on track together soon....
It’s so cool that you can actually see from watching this video that those front brakes are stopping you like an anchor 😂🔥
Saving up for an m2 comp. Can hopefully afford one in a couple years time when prices drop after the new one is out. Can't wait. absolute dream car
So nice to see how mich fun he has during the laps 😂👌🏻
Keep up the good mood and sympathetic way of taking the viewers through all your videos! 👍🏻
The M2 being my (attainable) dream car, this was a cool watch, can't wait to see the progress
Don’t play the ‘unreal’ drinking game to this video! Love the content 😄
Once you pull the back seats out and start lightening it up, those suspension and braking mods pay bigger dividends. I replaced the front seats with QRT-K, weighing in at 12lbs with harness along with pulling the rears out. Thing feels light!
Only downside to that is you lose the userbility and practical side of things, making it a less enjoyable car on the road imo.
I have the club sport on my track build… for the money compared to other products, it’s one of the best! Love this type of content!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Im a nerd for this type of content. Thanks for documenting this.
Love it Joe. My mate Kev just got his M3 xDrive in the same spec as yours and it unbelievable. If you are ever on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, hit us up. We’ll show you some great driving roads.
Thank you buddy, would love to think I can hopefully do that one day, sunshine coast is one of my favourite spots on planet earth 👌
Great roads around here 👍
I been asking for you to do a Schirmer Clubsport build for ages. I’m well chuffed now, can’t wait to see the journey.
Joe,, what a Machine!! Perfect plus!!!

What an amazing car and set up. Also nice driving 😎
AP Racing brakes, yummy! Great choice, I had those on my old BRZ! Want to get them for my GR86 eventually.
Incredible aren't they! ££££££
@@JoeAchilles1 Yep! Super easy pad changing too, £££££ indeed 😆
Now this is going to be a great series of videos. I adore the M2 comp. Got myself a CS.
Brilliant vid Joe can’t wait to see more of it on track.🤟🏻

We've all dreamed at some point of having the finances to do this or similar on our cars. Just a fantastic build, nice
That looks so much fun, transformed - great video 👍
Cheers 👊
Excellent video again. Super interesting. Love the enthusiasm. Psyched to read it up in Evo too
Looks great Joe. Well deserved. Congratulations.
Cheers Peter, hope all is well down under!
@@JoeAchilles1 All good here Joe. "Winter" and its 15-20deg.
Well done 👍, waiting for the next episode
👌🎬👊
Man I want those wheels on my M2C! They look so good on this car
Great wheels, but being replaced with something more "track" soon....
Looks like Santa 🎅 has arrived early, awesome set of toys for the beast.

The porsche driver at 20:40 is something else hahaha
Car is looking brilliant mate
Amazing upgrades. This is going to be a dream clubsport build. Seats has got to be the next upgrade though. They should make a massive improvement, and save a bit of weight.
I can recommend the Recaro Pole Position ABE seats, with a standard 3 pointer...
What a great project!

Always good to see OMP 🤩
This video in unreal!!
What would Joe have said about that Porsche driver if the GoPros were off looo
Haha you should see what I didn't put in the video 😂🫣
Lol!
You need a set of Cobra Nogaro fixed bucket seats, for a nice CS setup. 🇬🇧. manufactured also.
Fantastic video as always
Top video👍looking forward to the series
Brilliant content Joe. Enjoying the channel and appreciate the effort your going to. 👍

Get some spots on the front to flash the idiots out the way 😉 (Porsche driver at the end)

Id love too see some recaro pole position abe in it
This will be interesting to follow, because I want to do the same soon with an M4.
Just need to save up that money 😶
What trunk spoiler do you have? It looks great
Love this car
cool have been looking forward to this video 🎉
Looks amazing.
Such a great car ❤
Joe, why don't you put the old Stock Front Brakes (rotors and calipers) onto the rear? you have them, might aswell
Love it mate. 👌
Great video as always, slightly off topic but have you ever go-karted at Buckmore Park ? I’m going soon, can’t wait
Should have done the Alcon front brakes from the M2 CSR
Those laps look awesome. Just one observation, when you drop from 4th to second, you could just go 4 to 2. It’s a bit pointless putting it in third in between
Looks epic. See you at Goodwood on the 12th?
Hey joe when is the range test coming with the 7 series? 😃
In the next week 😉

Car looks phenomenal joe! Will you be selling on the m sport brakes?? 😉
Swaybars, uniballs, diff lift kit, track focus alignment ???
Looks great !
This is awesome! Any chance I can buy your front brakes and used rotors?
You can buy my rotors and RP1 pads, but keeping the calipers. DM me on Insta 👌
On regular street driving where the roads are uneven or bumpy; does the vehicle feel more settled / less bouncy?
That car looks so fun. Probably one of the last good drivers cars
Joe, Any reason you didn’t get the Suspension Secrets adjustable drop links? You have all the adjustable parts accept those.
Wow
Do you not recommend the off the shelf Bilstein Clubsports for track bliss? Does it need higher spring rates and adjusted damping?
Going to nurburg with it?
love all this shit, how does this compare to KW club sports??
Joe I just wanted to find out, what’s your verdict on the new m2 feeling now after upgrading your current spec 😂👀? Did it feel as good as this does now?
