I've taken at least 4 lessons from Underbelly and he's awesome!! I'd like to tell you that he jokes around the entire time and is totally sarcastic, but its actually better than that! He's completely professional, understands theory, hears dissonance like no other, and is an absolute joy to work with. I was so impressed by our first few lessons that I stopped relying on the tutorials and started paying for the lessons. totally worth it, he wants to see you succeed!
“Let me be clear, if you really want to make this happen for yourself you gotta give up your idea of chance and really take matters into your own hands.” I never thought music production tutorial TH-cam could be so inspirational
Every time i stumble across some problems and looking for solution by typing the right question on you tube, I first chceck if there is your video about it. Damn you're the best :)
What I want to know is, why hasn't Ableton offered you a big fat paycheck yet? You should be at NAMM selling kit and gettin' paid dude. Excellent continuation of the series. Loving the whole family thing. It's like they're really here! :D Cheers man, thanks for sharing!
Love your videos underbelly!!!!! I swear you have the best analogies. ♡ You should get ableton certified (if you're not already) and conquer the world with your humor! One student at a time. Ohoho.
I have a conspiracy on these videos but I’m kinda scared to spill the tea on it. I used the chance knob and I actually had a cool effect at the right time in one of my exports. But I understand that the chance of that happening was very low and I cherish that one song a lot.
Anyone had a problem where the gate mode does not work in beat repeat... Where it just stops audio coming through (no original audio & no repeats) even when the chance is set to 100%????
beat repeat is so annoying man... all i want is a return track with beat repeat, and when i send a track to that beat repeat it does cool glitching stuff.... I want it to glitch everything when i turn the send knob up, instead of at intervals.
So, assuming I understand the fundamentals of (sucking at) producing, and have a rough version of a track already arranged, how much should I expect to get through in a private lesson?
hard to say. You can schedule a free orientation lesson with me so we can outline a tentative lesson plan here: facebook.com/yousuckatproducing/services

Why is it so obvious that this is the best channel on TH-cam?

Well its also very useful, You shouldnt use chance that often, Its much better when you manually do it.

One of your best tutorials yet for me
Probably the best Beat Repeat tutorial I've seen; definitely the funniest.
All that you need to learn beat repeat in 5 amusing minutes. You are really awsome.
Your use of analogies like the space tutorial using the house and rooms. Very creative way to teach audio engineering. Nice.
