Such a nice set-up ! Greta job man, looks really clean. Im currently in a 2021 GX w/ hopes to convert like this some day. Right now its just a commuter.
Nicely done! What did you do with the reverse light assembly ? If you cut it which tool did you use, I fear it might crack from the middle if I use circular saw or such
What's your opinion on the ease of using this type of swingout vs the Rig'd? Aside from the improved clearance I think that's the number one reason I want to switch, the Rig'd is such a pain to open and close; the pin has issues going in and the lever requires a lot of force, even after repeatedly lubing it like they've recommended.
I hated the use of the rigd so much that I don't use my trunk space. This is much easier to open, close and light to swing out. The rigd needed some strength and fiddling to open and close while this is straight forward. I regret spending money on the rigd, and most other temporary mods
@@wheeltogetoutthere If it's not absurdly expensive, I'll buy one. It's just what I'm looking for. JW Offroad has something similar but it's kinda overpriced
@@blurglide I dont think he’s gonna mass produce anytime soon this is all hand made. I can’t say the price but its up there with a full bumper with swing out
very beautiful fabrication.. excellent work 👏
Surely is!
So nice. You get the job done without adding too much weight

@@wheeltogetoutthere a rear bumper from metal tech will put you $3k into the hole, so l think he definitely did not spend 1/3 of that price
