Good video 👍Omnia Fishing recently released a jerkbait Rod video demonstrating the bend of 3 popular jerkbait rods under a load. 6’10 Expride, 6’8’ St. Croix Victory, and Diawa Tatula Elite 6’9. The bend of the expride truly is perfect in comparison.
Hey brother! Great video....just subscribed, and shared this to 613BASS'N Could you possibly weigh that rod for me? Been trying to get an accurate weight on that 6'10" M Expride B forever....would be greatly appreciated Rock out!
@@brooksandersonfishing can you tell me when using a baitcaster is better than a spinning rod? Personally, I get better distance (especially in wind), can use lighter line, and can work the lure better because of the better hand position above the reel.
@@MichaelMidgett I can control the bait better on casting tackle when I am doing various retrieves such as twiching the rod up to make fish commit. If you are using FFS a baitcaster is a must for accuracy with a jerkbait while fish are moving. Hope that helps!
This man has the best tips and tricks known to man. Check out that ditch fishing video

The Expride definitely has earned its spot in the top 3! It’s an incredible rod for a jerkbait no doubt!
Hey young man thanks for the video I really like the rod your useing.
It’s a phenomenal rod for sure!
How does a magnesium reel hold up to all the crazy twitching and jerking?
I know u like nrx open face if u bout a cheaper one what would u recommend
The GCX have some great models along with the shimano exprides! They both are more budget friendly without sacrificing any type of quality!
Do you mind sharing how much the rod weighs?
Try the Kistler jerkbait rod freakin Amazing!
They make some great rods! The expride has been a perfect fit for me.
They don’t even know about that bro. I’ve got one! Amazing!
What action would you recommend in that 6”10
Medium!
@@brooksandersonfishing I think he is asking for the action. Moderate or Moderate fast. Shimano sells both. I have the same question
The video only describes the rod as “medium” which is the “power” but shockingly is silent as to the “action”
the tacticalbassin special
They know!

I definitely can it’s one of the lightest rods I’ve ever put in my hand!
@@brooksandersonfishing that would be awesome!
Any luck on that weight brother? 😎
Thanks
Thanks for watching!
totally agree - awesome jerk bait rod!!
It’s a game changer no doubt!
I’ll take spinning over bait casting for jerkbait fishing 90% of the time.
@@MichaelMidgett definitely a time and place for both!

@@MichaelMidgettsometimes I like to use a pretty stout rod for some big bass like Florida strain big girls, and they like to eat a magnum jerk a lot!

@ a magnum jerkbait on bait caster….of course.
