Class J Railfanning

The first weekend in June, I finally got the chance to ride an excursion train pulled by the sexiest and most powerful passenger engine you can imagine, the mighty Class J, designed and built by Norfolk & Western Railway. I rode from Manassas, VA, to Front Royal and back, an area that is in close proximity to the towns that I model on my N-scale layout - so I spent time roaming around the area, too!
