I love seeing people go through grocery stores/grocery shop! It’s one of my favorite things to do when I go to bigger cities, so excited to see this video release!
The only grocery store in my town is Albertsons and their prices are high! Within 7 miles we have a grocery outlet and I love shopping there, but product changes constantly. I do get most of my produce there and things like hemp seeds, mushroom powder etc. It gives me the option to try new things too. Nothing within 40 miles like Costco. I absolutely love Your channel and love when you and hubs do the taste tests on products!
The grocery outlet here use to have so much vegan cheese back in like 2017. But around 2022 they fell off. They had rows of vegan cheese. Now it’s like a few types. They have the beyond and mock meats a lot though.
I'm a big fan of Grocery Outlet! I get almost all my plant based /vegan foods there... a lot of the basics: beans, rice, grains, chickpea pasta, produce, hummus etc. I find the organic aisle on the pricey side. What's really great is their prices...they tend to be way lower than most other stores including ones like Winco. Love your channel...first time here. Thank you!!!
I like Grocery Outlet. Never know what you will find. Things do come and go and if something is about to expire, super cheap. Recently they had Partake cookies 2/98 cents, regular size packaging. I got boxes of 12 count Dr. Prager's frozen veggie patties for $7.99. I also find if something is a non-dairy product, it lasts long past the expiration date, like non dairy liquid creamers or barista milk. Thank you for the tour. And I agree, if plant based, can't do all shopping there.
LOVE Grocery Outlet---you just never know what you might find! A couple years ago ours had gallon cans of concentrated tomato puree for a dollar each, and last year around xmas they had 5 lb bags of flour for a dollar each. The tomato puree was short-dated and the flour bags were poorly glued, so that's how they ended up there
I think the key to any store is knowing the price you normally pay to find out if you are getting a deal. I keep a doc on my phone that has regular items I buy often and their current price. Also, I will open my Walmart or Kroger app to compare when it is not a regular product. We have to be ever more vigilant in how and where we spend our money. Thank you for sharing about this store. We do not have one close by, but if they arrive in our area I will know what to do.
I love visiting the Grocery Outlet in my town! I’d agree with just about everything you shared. I especially love finding post-seasonal items because they’ll be available for an absolute steal. I bought a carton of peppermint mocha vegan creamer for maybe a buck or two after the holidays. I can almost always find a fun little beverage at a steep discount which helps me try new brands and flavors. Produce can be hit-or-miss at my local store. I’ll usually try to use it within a couple days of purchase to be safe.
I found Sown creamer for .47! Occasionally I find Miyokos and Forager products...score! It really is a store you scan for deals, in addition to your regular stores.
Hi larissa. Hope you and ur family are well. I hear grocery outlet chgs their vegan items daily. Prices are great i heard. Tyvm for sharing your shopping trip. Waiting for your next video. Hugs to all of you.💕
Out in Oakland, CA and San Leandro, CA the vegan options are either one type in stock or not all. Like maybe they have cheese alt. But not meat. I think it's the demographic of the area as well.
The expiration date check suggestion is a constant with Grocery Outlet for decades, regardless of how you eat tbh It's been a long time since I've gone so I'm not sure if the one I grew up going to has vegan options. Probably at least a little based on your video!

The extreme discounts tend to be on items that are about to expire.
Good to know!

No grocery outlet where I am, but I like being able to experience it vicariously through your video.
So glad you enjoyed, maybe one day you'll have one!

So glad you like them
