Jess and Jojo visited Abby in hospital when she had cancer, Abby went on a drive with Jojo, Jojo even revisited the ALDC and Abby did a tribute week to her dances. I’m sure I remember she lost her nan to cancer so she probably knows how hard it is to go through and wanted to show support.
Not only was Jojo’s improv itself well executed, but she told a story that matched her music. She understands the narrative arc of a dance. Very, very impressive, and shows what an inate performer she is.

One of my biggest issues with Abby that happened with Nia was in the second season I believe when she said that Nia wasn’t allowed to have her own NATURAL hair and that her culture basically weighed her down. It still to this day doesn’t still well with me that Abby blatantly said that Nia was not allowed to show her culture and appreciate it because it “weighed her down” and made her look ugly. Nia is gorgeous no matter what her hair looks like, but especially when she is showing her culture
Yeah she was a teen here. The show made it look as if she didn’t place to make it look like she was a bad dancer when she actually won with never knew in this episode.

I think whatever style of dance this was really suited Nia. Her movements were super strong yet fluid the entire time, she looks really comfortable and gorgeous on that stage!!!
JoJo really can improvise wow she looked amazing! She did better than a lot of choreographies that Abby actually gave her JoJo really is a great dancer and was way to underrated

You can really tell from both these performances that Nia and Jojo truly love to dance. Nia is always giving 110% on and off stage because it’s clear she has so much love for this form of expression, and puts so much feeling into every step. And Jojo has a vivid passion when she performs that she can improv an entire solo number and never falter in performance and acting. It’s crazy how Abby, a dance teacher, constantly underestimated them, especially Nia.

Ava’s technique is super underrated! She takes her long legs to her advantage, she bobbled a bit on her turns in the middle, but other than that she did amazing; I also love the storyline! Her faces were a bit strange, I feel like she should’ve had a more “deep pain” kind of emotion instead of anger, like she was crying because that’s what the storyline was about. She’s a beautiful dancer, I just think this wasn’t one of her best solos.
The feeling these girls must have had especially Nia in this to only have a solo cause your teammates had to many dances to do in one day must have been horrible

This just shows me that when they get the opportunity to do beautiful lyrical dances they both can really shine. They always got cheesy type of dances and weren’t placing well. It was made out like they couldn’t do lyrical dances as they never got them but they did amazing.

the girls always have a backup costume and solo just in case. jojo improved because she didn’t have one, but nia’s solo never knew is her backup solo that she always has prepared just in case

@@tracint4830 if she's copying move for move every single time and not changing it up abit then yeah that's abit boring and weird but I've seen jojo not do the same thing in improv outside of dance moms, maybe this specific improv is copying? I just don't think it works like that in the dance world, many ppl failed to improv at all so maybe that's why she looks better, I just think it's a fine line copyrighting when it's dancing coz these dance moves are used over and over by multiple dancers and instructors 😅and abby wouldn't ever give credit to other dance instructors for any moves, they were only ti say they were trained by abby Lee so she could take credit for the training 😬 so I can get why the kids would maybe not do that too if their instructor won't do it 😊

If they knew this, at least should have gave Nia and Jojo the solos instead
This just shows me that when they get the opportunity to do beautiful lyrical dances they both can really shine. They always got cheesy type of dances and weren’t placing well. It was made out like they couldn’t do lyrical dances as they never got them but they did amazing.

the girls always have a backup costume and solo just in case. jojo improved because she didn’t have one, but nia’s solo never knew is her backup solo that she always has prepared just in case

@@tracint4830 ill check them out 😊 also you do know that improv isn't making up a new dance move 😅? Improv is just taking all the moves dance wise you've learnt and doing a freestyle using those 😊 so most dancers improvs have other dance instructors or dancers moves in them 😊
@@tracint4830 if she's copying move for move every single time and not changing it up abit then yeah that's abit boring and weird but I've seen jojo not do the same thing in improv outside of dance moms, maybe this specific improv is copying? I just don't think it works like that in the dance world, many ppl failed to improv at all so maybe that's why she looks better, I just think it's a fine line copyrighting when it's dancing coz these dance moves are used over and over by multiple dancers and instructors 😅and abby wouldn't ever give credit to other dance instructors for any moves, they were only ti say they were trained by abby Lee so she could take credit for the training 😬 so I can get why the kids would maybe not do that too if their instructor won't do it 😊

In abbys ultimate dance competition abby insulted all of the dancers who only wore one ballet shoe. She said it looked dumb and then you can tell what foot they are gonna turn on
