- Hello there ! When I was working on the the banished scribe RP, I borrowed my mother’s inkwell collection to pick a few. Now it’s time to wrap them to give them back… But a bit of examination and listing was absolutely necessarily, of course ! 😉

An old-time merchant selling gems or jewelry ect, and using a scale and weights to weigh copper, silver, and gold etc. to see how much of a profit she made by writing it down and then using abacas to calculate and count how much she made

Reminds me of another idea, how about a spice merchant? 😊 lots of possibilities with dried herbs sounds, maybe grinding the spices in a mortar, stuff like that!

Me, romanticizing using an ink and quill set:
- improved penmanship
- inspired poetry flowing effortlessly from my hand
- perfect posture while writing
- a relaxed smile on my face
Me, being realistic about this venture:
- ink stains on hands, clothing and one of the cats (the one with the white fur patches)
- knocking over the ink bottle
- learning new curse words
- various failed attempts at calligraphy
- writers block
But hey, I have you and Anastasia, I can live my ink and quill dreams vicariously through you both.

Your videos take me back to my own childhood. Even in the 1970's many held on to old way of doing things. I remember watching my mother write letters with her fountain pen and ink well.

One of my favorite pass times when I lived in Paris, was to go to antique shops and look at all this types of jars, you find real treasures. Great sounds, you are now my favorite relaxation ASMR artist. Please keep up your fabulous creations.
Absolutely love your ASMR videos. I don't necessarily use these to fall asleep but I love having then on while I am working and they help relax me and put me in a calm mood. I have been practicing mindfulness and meditation and I think the way you structure your videos is very much helpful for that. I love how you take such careful time with each item. It's almost like you are practicing mindfulness as you create the ASMR video and giving objects your careful attention and appreciation. Your aesthetics is also simply wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to make these wonderful videos.

what i love about your channel, is just watching you pottering about, it’s so relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. As a child i used to sit and watch my grandmother cook, sew, iron, clean, etc etc and she did it with so much grace and peace . your style reminds me of her gracefully pottering about x so thank you i really enjoy it xx

i remember when my older sister would make me lay down and do makeup on me. i got chills every time she would touch my hair, or brush the eyeshadow across my face. sadly, she stopped doing it and i’ve gotten so used to someone playing with my hair that i just want someone to do it.
anywho, the soft mumbling in the videos bring me back years and it makes me feel the same chills i felt then. thank you❤️
My four sisters and I (all 55+ years old) grew up exchanging favors for hair brushing (I’ll do the dishes on your dish washing night if you brush my hair). We all paid our willing children tO brush our hair for pocket change..lol. Your post took me back. Now my grandson likes to brush my hair..I don’t ask, but he likes it (for now anyway, at two years old). There is nothing like having someone touch/brush your hair:). Thanks for sharing your story:)

When I discovered ASMR a year or two ago I never imagined how widely ranging and imaginative the videos could become. I'm always astounded by the high quality of your videos, the care and attention to detail plus all the cool things you own. The aesthetic is wonderful and it's almost a bonus they help me to relax!
Wonderful lighting; really showed off the beauty of those glass inkwells and made the brown tones in the room very soft and golden. And that blue patterned wall covering in the background is gorgeous!

I had never really experienced ASMR as visual until watching your videos, but your hand movements are so relaxing and comforting. I really dislike long nails with lots of coloured varnish, I hadn't really thought about how it changes the video until I watch yours with you short, natural nails. Isn't that weird? As always, love your video. You're the best.
Make up in general make me distrustful of a woman (no idea why though I've always felt this way I'd even start crying as an infant if my mom tried to interact with me while wearing it)
I think this is my favourite AMSR video ever. I listen to it on loop while I'm working. I love the combination of the inaudible whispers and the crinkles. I really love your other video's for their visuals, atmosphere and scene setting, and while they all have gorgeous sounds too, for me this one is the absolute pinnacle of auditory heaven. Normally I find inaudible whispers and mouth sounds completely insufferable, however the visuals of all the unique inkwells were so lovely I found myself enchanted anyway. I appreciate the attention to detail! I loved the inkwell made of glass orbs. 💕

Such an exquisite fancy glass inkwell collection!!!....I'd fit right at home with the saying "a bull in a china shop".....just give me a "pork pie" any day (stoneware)....but if I had to pick a favorite it would be a toss up between the third one ( the one that looks like it has a built in "candy dish" help to keep the ink from slopping everywhere) and the one that looks like a pyramid.... fantastic video all around!!!....

Your chuchotements are very relaxing as is your demeanor. I was pleased to see this latest installment it reminded me of my late Father, an accomplished artist himself, who fashioned me a quill out of a feather and the well from an old parfume bottle of my Mother’s.
He carefully showed me how to apply pressure to create the right calligraphic.
You really should consider yourself a teacher and an artist.
I used to frequent so many different types of asmr videos, but now there are only two types . waves on the beach videos, and all of yours . the ocean, because i have spent much of my life at sea, and your videos, because they take me to a place where i only go when reading an old book . a place of magic and mystery, and remoteness from everyday life .
