i first played this wicked legendary beat 'em up in a pizza hut in Escanaba Michigan back in the day i must have spent a lot of quarters at least 5 bucks i was lucky my dad even gave me that much never got a chance to beat it and actually own it but man did i enjoy it. another great classic arcade game!
this game just has something, some oldskool greatness. the visuals, sound ..all is just right. could have been a bit deeper but that's how things were back then and still now to be enjoyed.
i could de attach myself from my childhood so i must to say this game is like 9/10 even today ! now they release f=== 16 bits games on steam with great trailers just to sell but actually they suuux in-game. kids nowadays have soo much variaty and free games emulators etc that shey simply don't give a damn, so spoiled!!!

Mutation Nation is a great classic brawling game in the genre! It fell short and behind to other series like Double Dragon, Final Fight, and Streets of Rage and has a cult following. Still a fantastic game while it stands out amazingly for its gameplay, music, and graphics 20+ years later! A real coin muncher and button presser for the MVS, AES, and NGCD!
I loved it when the title came down on the intro screen. A great game, indeed. (Except for the scary-looking guys with the bird-like heads that have tentacles coming out of their mouths. -________-)

As an example, Rastan LP is meh compared tow hat I could do. just dunno how o record it at proper framerate, on a Dual Core it's coughing badly if you know what I mean.

Game seems a little too easy. The enemies don't have any of the annoying attack properties you see in most beat em ups of that era. Graphics are fantastic though.

I find the neo-geo beat'em ups to lack something the other genres on the platform had, even Sengoku 3 gets kinda repetitive after a few levels.
