This run was a great example of why you shouldn’t overthink things. Sam and Adam were onto Ben from the start. It looked like it would be the worst run of the bunch. They asked all the right questions and narrowed his map down so quickly to the point where they started second guessing themselves. And that became their undoing.

18:02 gotta say this is the most evil I've seen Ben.. usually he's the "Hey! I get lucky and play in such a way they can't predict my next move because I dont even know what my next move is!" But this series.... Ben has been far to Diabolical, lucky, and just being a schemy shifty barsted. Still though, team Ben all the way! I hope he ends the day before they find him and he can stack his time bonuses to the moon
The fact that Ben's second run is 2 episodes long (over an hour and a half long of edited footage) tells me that it's the longest run, and Ben's having fun too, like, he's not in some isolated area or anything, he's just in a town chilling, visiting the local buildings like the teddy bear museum, restaurants...etc
Ben is truly the best hider and he makes the most fun videos. Imagine a 2-video long run that has so many ups and downs lol Google screwed Sam and Adam up so bad 😅😅😅
I think it would be doable if they didn't allow for multi day runs. If two people get to the end of a day without being found, it should just be judged on distance between the seekers and the hiders to break the tie, and even that would be rare because of the time bonus cards. That way there is no arbitrary advantage from the turn order.
no, then it would mean that there would be no reward for putting in a stonking run for the hider and no punishment for the seekers not being able to find the hider (being the likelihood of everyone getting 2 runs)
The player going last should get some sort of advantage at the start of their run to compensate for the likeihood that they won't get two runs. And having to start from somewhere remote. Could be something like: A special power up Starting with some cards in hand Starting with a time bonus A longer period to hide Might be worth considering giving the player going second something as well.

@@Light-11 yeah but itd be cooler if the ghille suit worked though 😭, felt like it was wasted
Discovered Jetlag last week, i am both now a Nebula subscriber and have pre-ordered the game..
Congrats 🎉🎉
Thanks for funding the show!
That's the curse of an impressionable consumer for you...
@@fedfed6485when summer rolls around my fam are gonna do hide and seek London and I'm already hyped af
Joining in on the fun!
And that's why you don't smoke in the open at night in a war zone. It's really easy to spot lights at night!
Honestly at this point I think Adam's best bet is going like, one station further down the line on the Izu peninsula. Ben and Sam will almost certainly go back to Atami without asking any questions, then start trying to figure out whether to head east or west. Send them down the tokaido shinkansen towards Osaka, and have a chill day by the beach.
If they guess this and ask the question ("what if he went south? should we ask one question just to check?") it kills the run instantly though
2:23-2:25 Love Live! The Aquors girls from Sunshine are on the posters to their left as they run. The town they stopped in, Numazu, is the setting for those seasons of the show.
13 + hours! Thats insane that beats Adams run in Switzerland
Well, to be fair, we don't know how long Adam's run would have potentially lasted. They ran out of time.
That’s the saddest part of Hide & Seek 1. I really would have loved to see how long it Ben and Sam to figure out what Adam did. They had absolutely no idea what he did.
Adams run would continue forever.
Well maybe not forever, because they could have checked all stations in Switzerland... but certainly way longer than 13 hours.
But for this game, I think it is enough for winning.
Don't forget that there were no time bonuses in H&S1 regarding the comparison of times
@@Dr.Death8520 fair point
"In order to confuse the enemy, one must confuse themselves" -Ben tzu
14:45 that was dark, but a very real question😂
14:45 If the hider dead, the game become much harder. Quite disturbing
The microphone light would've still identified him, but he couldn't have answered the questions they needed to find the street he was on
Sam's "what the (bleeep)" just made me actually lol. 😂😂
This was one of the best episodes. It was just full of so many great moments. Keep it up guys. Great work all-round Ben.
who knew that all we needed in life was ben and a thunderstorm?
ben+ thunderstorm = pure happiness
I always look forward to Ben episodes because how can one be so clam yet chaotic yet strategic. And also have the insanest luck. Props to Ben he deserved this run.
I would go insane without Jetlag.
Thank you to everybody who helps making the greatest show of all time
Ben really outshines them all in hide and seek. He uses psychology against Sam and Adam specifically. It’s insanely!
Team Ben is killing it on Hide and Seek this season! way to go.
"Well, I also have over two hours of time bonuses" - "What the f-"
Priceless 😂
18:36 LMAO at Ben’s smile at the weather. Diabolical!
such a happy little guy 18:24
Came here to comment exactly this
This is why Wednesday is my favourite day of the week
Funniest moment of the season, 15:00 Adam and Sam discussing about the Soul of Ben winning the Game 😂
In an eventual third Hide + Seek season, either place sam first in the rotation cycle or just limit the game to two runs per player, otherwise its not really fair...
yea i dont get why its not just 2 runs per person
Fr, Ben practically made Sam auto-lose the game because he had basically god tier strategies that only fictional characters could beat lol
Absolutely. Our boy Sam is always in a disadvantage.
@@5wamp'Cause they have to schedule their return trips from Japan
why not just plan to stay a little longer in case something like this happens though

you mean 10/10?
This was great! As a part of team Ben I'm quite happy!!! Good job everyone! I really love the Hide and Seek format the most, it's just very exciting and fresh to me
So glad you uploaded just in time for me to have something to watch while eating
It's always the same time every Wed! (if the interns don't botch it lol). Just come back next week this time.
@spelunkyboy most weeks they upload at least 50 minutes before I get home, so at least this time it was different
Which is weird given TH-cam has scheduled uploads
Would love to see a version of hide and seek in a confined area like a city, especially if the total game play was just as long!
being team ben is so rewarding this season
I went from Team Badam to Ben and it's genuinely so fun. Best season to be Team Ben indeed.
18:30 He‘s smiling because he knows that that is gonna go in a jetlat out of context video
_This Is EXACTLY What I’ve Been Waiting For_
That's EXACTLY What I've "Ben" Waiting For
What a betray from the dices. They helped Ben in the most brutal way this dices could. 3:47
What?
@@spelunkyboythe curse was still active when the train started moving which means that their calculation was off and if it landed below 6 they would've had waited for the next train extending Ben's time of hiding and possibly onto the next day.
@@potassium9881 ye, that's why the guy you're replying to is asking what the original comment meant. The dices didn't help Ben bc Sam and Adam got the info that they're completely wrong faster.
@@potassium9881 Yea I get what you're saying. OP's English was so tremendously botched I didn't know what he was implying.
@@spelunkyboy no, its because the dice helped them get on the wrong train line lol. I think what OP is trying to say is that if they couldn't get on that train they might have realized ben's hiding spot sooner, as that train was going in the complete wrong direction.
18:34 "i think god is intervening in this game" *smiles big*
Bens camo disguise promised a really good end game on his run, it's imo a shame that it ended in like 40 minutes already, wish it had gone an hour or two... but what can you do if you get caught due to the green light on your mic...
he could’ve easily just covered the light with his hand or something, and then layed down kinda with his suit and then he could’ve prob bought himself some more time
Ben's attention to the abstract meta is unrivalled, but he gets fked over by careless details irl lol
They asked so many questions that they basically knew what street he was on, the mic thing lost him probably like 5 minutes
@michalkostyk5583 yea and asking him a qn would force him to move, alerting them to him
@@spelunkyboy well they had the dice curse active for at least 20-30 minutes more so they couldnt ask anything
This run was a great example of why you shouldn’t overthink things. Sam and Adam were onto Ben from the start. It looked like it would be the worst run of the bunch. They asked all the right questions and narrowed his map down so quickly to the point where they started second guessing themselves. And that became their undoing.
I was watching season 2 of jetlag waiting for this to come out and i just saw it in my feed. As yall can guess i have never tapped a video so fast in my life.
19:11 The maniacal laughter of someone who knows he's already won
Here again and I sure know why this is so popular! Big Ben made an incredible run in this one.
I caught this before the red dot on my subscribed page even appeared. Thanks so much for making such a wonderful show!
37:01 NOO BENN IS SO CUTE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I feel like you should add a time to the curses that are active in the top right so we can estimate how long it will continue for i think it would be quite cool but as always good vid 👍
Agree!
I really like that this is a longer trip! As it gives more people a chance to go multiple times
13 hours is crazy! That has to be a new record.
I thought this was EthanSlater at first
This is the only thing I can look forward to in my week!
I just love the dice!!! It’s sooo funny to see Adam and Sam limping away!
I love nearly Binge watching these 😅😅
that was the best and most exciting run ever, always such a pleasure to watch ben be a mixture of great strategy and pure chaos
As a new nebula subscriber, I still make sure to watch all TH-cam outros, wonderful as always
imagine seeing a person playing with a deck of cards in a ghilli suit in japan at 6:30ish at nighttime next to a random ahh street
Sam is looking LEAN man. Must be training running so he can catch Adam in future seasons.
Ben smiling menacingly with lightning in the background 18:31😂😂
Ben is truly the best hider and he makes the most fun videos. Imagine a 2-video long run that has so many ups and downs lol Google screwed Sam and Adam up so bad 😅😅😅
this gotta be the best episode so far
The 1 week time limit makes sence ($), but for balance allowing everyone to have 2 tries sounds a lot more fair
I think it would be doable if they didn't allow for multi day runs. If two people get to the end of a day without being found, it should just be judged on distance between the seekers and the hiders to break the tie, and even that would be rare because of the time bonus cards. That way there is no arbitrary advantage from the turn order.
no, then it would mean that there would be no reward for putting in a stonking run for the hider and no punishment for the seekers not being able to find the hider (being the likelihood of everyone getting 2 runs)
ben, needing to be quiet and careful to look for animals - proceeds to kick a rock aggressively while talking about needing to find frogs
The player going last should get some sort of advantage at the start of their run to compensate for the likeihood that they won't get two runs. And having to start from somewhere remote.
Could be something like:
A special power up
Starting with some cards in hand
Starting with a time bonus
A longer period to hide
Might be worth considering giving the player going second something as well.
19:14 HeHeHe your never gonna find me in this got me so hard
