Thanks Drew for all the helpful videos over recent years with the X32 console. A great well to draw from for info.
I'd love to see you cover a scenario where an X32 Rack is added at the side stage rack underneath the Midas DL32 digital snake, into a system that already utilizes the X32 console back at FOH. We currently use all 16 busses on the console already, 10 for 5 Stereo IEMs, 2 for mono wedges, 2 for Livestream audio, and the last 4 for reverbs. We needed to add more busses via the X32 Rack for additional stereo IEMs so we bought the X32 Rack and haven't been able to figure out how to set it up. Our house system is run in stereo as well.

Thank you! I am just learning the Midas32 and your relatively short videos on specific topics are very helpful! We are using the firmware update 4.06. I would like a focused discussion on fader flip. As I understand it there are three conditions here. What do the buss faders control when fader flip is off, when fader flip is on and an input channel is selected, and when fader flip is on and a bus channel is selected?

I have a question about support. Your advice about not attempting updates just prior to a show or service are well-taken. If things do go awry, where can you turn for support? My church has a Behringer X32 Compact that was donated and set-up long before I got involved. History is pretty vague at this point. If one needs set-up or settings recovery help, can you contact Behringer direct? These are great videos. Thank you so much!
Not really a question but a video on virtual sound checks PC and Mac would be super helpful and maybe what free software would work best for the X32 or bought software. Been trying to set this up to help train volunteers at my church. Thanks, Chris
Drew has an older video on this, that works the same on the newest firmware, as for software, reaper is a program which u can download and use for free as long as u want u just have to wait 5 sec after startup in order for u to use it,

I would add a 3rd soapbox, USB drives can fail, i would backup the data on at least two drives!
This is SENGOOBA EXPEDITO a student in the Watoto worship academy. My question is that how can I update my X32 behringer and then I stop the faders from automatic movements with me pulling them up or down
When do you do updates of console firm ware and this time how does the console behave
Just curious, is this method of doing a full backup the same thing as what happens when the firmware update process asks you to backup the console?
My question with USB drive is , which is the best ones to use I’ve used 3.0 3.1 and my recording skips (live recording)

hi drew i have received very old x32 and it only on 1.15 firmware. i've tried to update to the latest firmware but it failed..
What do you think about the new update 4.09?
I keep losing my mains. Going thru my s16 I have them on 15 and 16 on the s16. which I have 2 . Then I am dumb founded on how to get them back working. This has caused me hour of trouble shooting. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Drew, thanks for the great video. I have a question please: I am running 3.1.1 firmware and I don't have an AES50 tab on my library page. So do I need to back up the AES50 settings from somewhere else? If so, how? Thank you, John
Hi there. I have 3.1.1 version and am about to update to 4.xx (latest). I don't have an AES50 tab either. I've backed up everything as explained in the video. I'm going to need to pull the trigger and do the update in the next day or so. Have you done your FW update yet, and if so, how did it go? Did you need to restore anything? Thanks.

Question: if my board is several firmware updates behind, should I update the board with the next version in sequence and so on, or update straight to V4?
Hi, I think you got your answer, but if not… my experience is - do a backup - and go straight to the last update. It could be that it looks and feels different but your shows should run fine…. But dont do it at Friday, Saturday or Sunday 😊
