Always great to fly with you and Eve Geoffrey. Nice lighting conditions to fly in and some brilliant shots. Eve coming into her own again with the clearance read back! 😎👍
Thanks Tim! I really enjoyed your recent video with the caps! Not something I’d normally think about watching, but captivating after the first few minutes! 👍🏼 Eve & I were chatting today & she’s expressed an interest in doing the FRTOL! 😮 She seems to absorb aviation protocols quickly, although does not want to pilot the aircraft… which is the bit I enjoy anyway! 😅
Thank you, it was a while ago, I feel a bit more confident now & would probably do things a little differently… but that’s all part of the learning process 😊👍🏼
Another great video guys 👍👏😁 Interesting landing ! ( I enjoy those too !! ) My trip to the island was a warm, quiet September day, so yet to experience the bumps down there 😬 Thoroughly recommend a flight in the snow. I was lucky to get a fab jolly with Paul in Feb 19 from Old Sarum across the snow coated plain, in formation with Mark ! Absolutely stunning 🤗 ❄️ ⛄️ Keep them coming peeps. Captain Ray
It’s usually beautiful! This is the first time I struggled to land at Sandown. As you could see, I was the only one parked on the grass apron on a Sunday lunch time… that says it all!!! 😄
That’s amazing! Thanks so much for watching! You are so lucky in the US to have such good weather, plenty of space & an infrastructure that supports aviation 🥳👍🏼 I’m flattered that you enjoyed the video! 😊
You bet..! I’ve watched a lot of flight videos and your quality is exceptional with well placed cameras…. Come on out to Arizona and maybe we can do some Desert flying..😎👍🏼 Sounds like you and your wife might be Accountants….my wife is 😄👌 Merry Christmas!
We’re very keen to visit the US at some stage & an aviation adventure is at the top of the list! If we ever get the chance then we’ll definitely get in touch 😊👍🏼 We’re small business owners… I’m the ‘worker ant’ & Eve is the brains! Not accountants but Eve is brilliant with numbers though & preparing our books for the accountant & annual inland revenue submission 😬
Ahhh, certainly understand that as well…..we have our own company and Debi is the Controller….😜 Is the Bushcat Aircraft present in your area…? Becoming very popular here…..curious your thoughts as I know it’s from Africa…👍🏼
Brilliant video, thank you for sharing. How do you think the eurofox would cope with a Springerdoodle as a 3rd passenger? (Approx 18kg). Do you think you’d be able to fly with one directly behind the seat or would that put your weight/balance out? Think he would be too big to have on my passengers lap. Does the control column get in the way or have you removed the second stick?
Thanks for your kind words! You could easily put your dog behind you in the luggage bay & in fact it would work well as there are points in there to which you could attach a harness. The load bay Max is 18 kg & it therefore it would not upset the load & balance parameters. Both control columns are fixed in my plane & having the dog on Eve’s lap has not upset my control of the aircraft at all yet 😊👍🏼
@@FlyingDarkLord Thats good to know. I've been trying to find a suitable a/c to run safely on a 460m farm strip as the nearest spot to rent is 50 minutes drive. I'd been discounting the smaller a/c as I wanted to get 2 up with a dog but after seeing your videos I will have to re-explore. How was the wait time from you ordering the eurofox to getting it?
@@williamn9670 You’ll find it perfect for that environment! If you are on Instagram I can DM some photos of the cockpit & luggage area that might help you make up your mind. I was luck with my order as a load of people cancelled when Covid hit, I move straight to the top of the list. I think that now the list is growing quickly. You can contact Roger Cornwell to find out how they are fixed at the moment 👍🏼
@@FlyingDarkLord Thanks for the offer. I have contacted Roger and also got myself booked in for a flight in a eurofox so should be able to have a good look around one next week.
Just a point. Long final is ok but please don't call final on the RT until closer. Calling final too far out means everybody else has to do the same as you have called final. Better to call something like 2 miles then call final when closer in.
@@FlyingDarkLord Not a criticism just a point to remember. The number of times I fly to airfields and see pilots calling final when way out. First you can't see them especially when its busy. One mile out max is the most for a final call, I think. otherwise, it forces everybody else to go too far out. It's OK at a controlled airfield but not an air to ground. Good videos by the way. Enjoy.
Thank's mate, great job as usual.👍

I’ve not seen a Bushcat at all yet 🤔 Mostly Cessna, Piper, Ikarus, ‘Fox, Diamond & Luscombe in this area
Nice Vid ... 'how many POB's' ... should be 2 + a small dog LOL ... Dog looks very unfussed about it all
Every time we fly he just settles down & sleeps. We’re very lucky with him 🐶👍🏼
