i grew up in manchester listening to the stone roses in the 80's. it was nothing like this movie. the roses were almost an underground band, basically you had to be the weirdest and artsyist of all your classmates to be into them. and they weren't a football playing working class band, their fans didn't look like oasis fans. they were snobby and avante garde and posh. lot of made up history in this film.

i only wanted to watch this movie becuase of Emilia Clarke - but now i love the movie - ok im German - i must watch it with subs or i dont understand anything - but i must say its really one of the greatest movies ive ever seen - and Emilia is in it :D
