Very very under rated movie. You think it's a total love story cliche but it's the opposite and all you want by the end is to be a cliche love story because you feel so so much for these two even after the movie ends. Really hoping for a sequel. Chris Evans did a phenomenal job for his first time!

I don't know why many gave this movie bad reviews, I thought it was great and genuine. Love both Chris' and Alice's chemistry here. I think the ending was perfect for this kind of movie, but sometimes I wish they would make a sequel just so I could see both of them again lol. And props to Chris too for great directing!

I wanted them to end up together at the end so bad bc that's the romantic in me but then I realized this story isn't about them falling in love, it's about meeting people in your life who help change your outlook on life , love maybe everything. I Wish I knew what he wrote on the back of the card but he was right, you can't make someone else interesting if they are already committed to someone else.

I just watched this and honestly this is one of the greatest romantic films that I have ever seen! I wished they made this film and showed it to the world not only to that film festival. So underrated, not your typical love films.

I watched this movie in theaters, alone, in 2015, and for some reason it disappeared from my mind and only came back a few days ago. I feared it was just a false memory of mine, BUT IT REALLY EXISTS!!!
I watched this last night. Its a wonderful film. It brilliantly depicts New York at night. Chris Evans and Alice give excellent performances. A well done picture right here. ☺

Its an underrated movie man its amazing i can't describe it in words how relatable it is to every one of us its not a luv stry.. Its beyond tht its a magic
If considering, go ahead and watch this film. It's not as sappy as it looks, it all takes place within one night which makes it interesting, more and more about the characters is revealed as the night goes on, it is simply well filmed and acted, and it is one of the few honest and brutally realistic romance movies of our time. I give this film a very high recommendation.

I really liked this one! It's a simple movie but i think it still has a good "message" (if you can say so) and the two main actors had great synergy in my opinion. Even though I hate these kind of endings I still think it fit the movie. :)

Ugh I can't stand the whole you can't help who you fall in love with cliche. Everyone has an initial attraction to someone they like and it's your decisions whether or not you focus your time and energy thinking about them and getting to know the things about them that makes you fall for them. So yeah, you can help who you fall in love with.
smjai477 Nope. I fell in love with a guy I had no attraction to the first time I met him. We worked together. Over time, I fell in love with him, he was funny as hell and had tons of charisma, there were things about him i had not been exposed to that started to surface and make him attractive in ways I hadn't anticipated. I had no intention of falling for him, there was no initial attraction and I wasn't looking for love, but I couldn't just stop myself once I did fall because I didn't realise it was happening. It was not something I could help. If you are clinical enough to know before hand what you will feel for someone, and are able to stop yourself as if you are a machine who can control feelings like that, then good on you!

To anyone asking if the movie is good.. I'm probably biased but it IS a good movie. I think some would find it boring but if you loved Before Sunrise, I guess you'll also love this. But it's definitely not an instant love and that's what I love about it. Warning though: the first time I watch this, I think I wasn't really paying attention to the plot or what was happening lol because CHRIS EVANS, yes.. i was so busy staring at his face 🙈 So I rewatched it last night (tried my very best to focus on what's going on) and yeah, I love it even more 😊
