This movie toys with my emotions and has ruined anyone with the name Bethany for me.
This is my favourite film, and my name is Bethany..when I watched it my friends all moved away from me and onto a different couch xD I laughed so much.

Totally agree with you. I did read this book many years ago. It's so so so lovely but it's a little hard to accept the ending when they turn 50 and be together. I prefer the version on film.

I'm from Germany and I haven't watched the movie because it wasn't in the cinemas anyway and so I have one question: in the movie, how old are Alex and Rosie when they be together? Üsülop Murat Aschaka Boom Halo :) Happy new year!!! It's really nice that I've received a sms on youtube from someone in Germany. I love your country a lot. Yeah unlike the novel, the film is set over 12 years instead of 45 years. After Alex & Roise get married with somebody else which means that after they have their own family, they realise that what is true love and decide to come back. I'm not sure about how old when they be back, because it's not mentioned in the film. But maybe after they're 30 :)

They act like they r Roise n Alex in the novel. It actually like how I imagine. Alex is so handsome n kind :x Hope u like it.

honestly this film wrecked me. I'd heard so much about it (mostly negative) but seriously idk what those people were on about it. I loved all of it...it was funny, cute, sweet, emotionally damaging and just perfect. I couldn't stop crying for hours on and SAMMM

This movie simply proves that if a person is meant for you, whatever circumstances you encounter, even if the world drift you apart, your arms are each other's home and you'll always find your way back to where your heart truly belongs.

I loved this movie!!! I wasn't expecting it but it became one of my favorites. I'm glad I hadn't read the book before so I got to enjoy it as a stand-alone (also, I think this ending is MUCH better than the book's) The actors did a great job, the plot feels fresh and there are plenty of emotional scenes

Excellent movie, great actors. So romantic and very close to the reality. This couple was very lucky to got back together after so many years. True love definitely triumphs in the end. I would have liked to see them showing their love and happiness after this reconciliation. But anyway I always will love this movie.
