Most of Gacy's victims were from him "hiring" teens to help in his handy man business. He'd promise them amazing pay for their age at the time, might use them a couple times, then kill them. I don't think he'd ever got a victim from his clowning.

I lived in Miami Florida when Bundy was murdering his victims. I also fit the physical traits of his preferred type and age to murder. It was a chilling time! I took self defense classes upon my parent's request. I also took another class on how to avoid becoming a victim, which was very helpful. I'm an old lady now, but I can still kick a$$ if I have to! Thanks mom and dad! Hope you are really enjoying heaven! Miss you both terribly!

I have worked in law enforcement for many years and have seen the worst kind of people and seen someone killed in front of myself and my son when I was off duty and even saved someone with CPR. My brother in law fought in the battle of Mogadishu and both my father and father in law fought in Vietnam and they told me what they saw and did and yet I still don't understand to this day how someone can take another persons life intentionally. I have seen what killing does to most people who had no choice and it just doesn't make sense that people kill for pleasure.

@@kadeelacayo4806 Manson was absolutely a genius. However, because he spent about 75% of his life being locked up, his genius was twisted.
That being said, let's not fool ourselves, he absolutely did kill at least one person and openly admitted it; even bragged about it.
If you read Helter Skelter, it details very clearly the methods that he used to get people to do what he wanted. On top of being a street wise jail alumni, he was also 10+ years older than his Family members and used it to gain every advantage.
The whole situation was a lot more complicated and just plain bizarre than most people realize. The Family got most of their food from dumpster diving and the women had to let the men, children and animals eat before they were allowed to eat. They held mock crucifixions where Manson claimed to be Jesus. Manson decided who would have sex with who during their orgies.
I'd go on but there's just too much to fit into a comment.

I understand exactly what Manson was saying. He's the derelict, bumm, nobody, transient that society smugly looks down its nose at and discounts, yet never realizes the fact that he's so cunning that he's able to manipulate the very children of the people that looked down on him, into committing the most heinous acts of violence. And he was right which is part of the reason why the Tate/Labianca murders were so shocking.

He may have thought what he was doing was 'compassionate', saving his patients/victims from a similar fate and it escalated to a thrill of power and authority with him getting away with it for so long and almost getting money from it. He was also a beloved 'member of society', so he may have felt a sense of 'purpose', something a NARCISSIST will feel when doing something negative and not being called out for it.

Warnos Was absolutely deserving of her punishment and payed for her crimes but that woman had no chance of being anything else than what she became after her childhood. I can’t say upbringing because she was never raised just abandoned and abused by everyone that was ever in her life. Any of us would be capable of what she did if we had to deal with what she did as a little girl. Not even a tiny chance at life! My life wasn’t great and was violent but it was a dream compared to hers. 😔

It's normal to be fascinated by abnormal and abhorrent behavior. We want to understand why people can deveate so drastically from others. It's likely a survival instinct to want to understand these people so we can avoid the same fate as their victims.

These types of people are very intelligent and know what they are doing. I had a professor when I was in my undergraduate degree that had bundy, gacy and dammed on his case load when he was a young psychologist. The stories that he would tell us were very unsettling. Obviously he didn’t go into deep detail but more on the personalities and what made them tick. I enjoyed learning about psychotic disorders. I’m currently a student working towards my PSY.d in clinical psychology and I have worked with people that had similar mentalities just at a younger age it is crazy.

  • @themechaniacal1558

Guys, please....Gacy did NOT dress as a clown to lure victims. The clown persona and the fact he was a killer are two completely different situations. He was a contractor and he lured young men through employment prospects as well as even offering SOME a ride if he saw them out in the neighborhood. THE CLOWN THING HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

Actually, as far as Eileen Wuornos goes, she was tortured most of her life. It’s no excuse for what she did, but it’s also really tragic for her. She was raped and beaten over and over, including with a pipe. This is why it’s so important to save children for abuse. I feel horrible for her victims, but also for her. Also, in knowing criminals, as well as current and former guards, in jail they absolutely do things to make their lives as horrible as possible. We are taking some really sick people and doing things to make them worse. The system is seriously fucked up

I got kidnapped by charles manson when i was 3 years old. He kept me for 2 1/2 weeks. Although most people delt with his followers i actually got tortured by charles manson. He did really gross things to me. Towards the end of the kidnapping he was trying to figure out ways to kill me. He broke into this old ladys house and was gonna use this big machine to flatten me. A cop pulled up right as he was about to kill me and he got him on the ground and handcuffed. The cop grabbed me and put me in the back of his car about to rush me to the hospital. The entire street was covered with cops about 20-30 police cars. Had it not been for the neighbor who was watching the old ladys house and reporting it i would have been dead. He was a very broke and jobless man who had no ambitions to make himself a home. He roamed with people who were like minded. When he died i felt a relief that i would never have to deal with him again. My name is gertrude esponja.

Paul Bernardo was one of the worst, but I think Carla Holmolka is worse imo. As a Canadian it’s infuriating to me that she has gotten a new name and is living her life as a free woman...after luring, sexually torturing, and murdering young girls....including her own sister. That’s so fucked up.

Gacy being allowed to enjoy his victims murders repetitively is disgusting. Bundy smiling like a demon in his interview was the creepiest. But the woman serial killer was straight up demented. Bundy too but he didn’t have the creepy looks of a lot of them so that just allowed him to kill easier. His looks didn’t scare his victims as much. They call him handsome but I don’t honestly think so really. He’s just not creepy looking.
