just a minute ago, I found this video and your channel I'm so happy because there are few and terrible Arabic materials for Japanese like me, but for English, so plentiful
Thanks for making this channel and video! Have been interested in Arabic, but had a hard time getting started, though recently was recommended to work on Levantine Arabic, so I’m glad to have found this channel!
Do you have a video, or a recommendation for learning the phonemes of Arabic? When learning an East Asian language, I found it incredibly helpful to learn the phonemes ( though there were only a handful), to start to recognize the words and to practice what to listen for. Sorry if you already have a video up regarding this, I may have just scrolled by it.
Happy New Year! I'm very happy to see you posting again. I decided, coincidentally, to reboot my Arabic in 2021 and this will be very helpful as most of my training has been in MSA. Thank for posting and best wishes for a successful new year.
Can you, or anyone, recommend podcasts/videos that are long and fully spoken in Levantine Arabic? I want to immerse myself in it. Thanks. Your channel rocks!
I believe you already got the piece of information you wanted, but for those that want the same thing I recommend this series: m.th-cam.com/play/PLNW62rb4Kwhx_nyJYg77JXoFuf0xwB-sF.html The Syrian dialect.
Please upload a verb ( things name ) in laventine arabic... And ur every videos is very very helpful for me ..... Thank you for guide to learn Arabic for me....❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just found your channel and have a quick question. I've previously been taught that 'and' is "wa" , whereas you say it as "oo". Is this a dialect difference in Jordan, or is this a common thing? I am learning Levantine but with more Lebanese/Syrian influence :)
Hi there, I am a Syrian. It is correct to say both, Wa is more of a fusHa form, while oo is more Syrian/Lebenese. Though, there are some Syrians that say Wa, it is more common to use OO. Hope it helped

Mar7aba ustaadha, nice video. At about 05:05, how does hada (this, masculine) become "had" & hadi (this, feminine) become "hai" ? Shokran
Hada and had are interchangable, and so are hadi and hai.
@@LearnLevantineArabic Oh I see. So can I say "hai seyaaratee" OR "hadi seyaaratee" for "This is my car" ?
Yes! You can use either.
@@LearnLevantineArabic I've learned something new today, shokran.

Is قدیم pronounced اریم in levantine arabic?
The word for old? I think it stays the same (im a native speaker)
Which regions say إحنا compared to نحنا which I'm used to?
Levant

I guess the sound was cut but the mar in mar-Haba should be heard or spoken 😊
1. is confusing because the conversation is between females, but the pronunciation was kifak.
Luckily, there’s an explanation later.
oh - like the Israeli dialect
Schukran! The qaaf was not pronounced in “qadiim” ... is the qaaf never pronounced in Levantine Arabic?
In most Levantine Arabic dialects the qaf is indeed not pronounced, or rather it is pronounced as a hamza ء.

Very low sound, have to turn it up.
Why change dialect to slang. Classical Arabic is so beautiful and sunnah
This dialect is different than Standard arabic. 😅🤔
But I'll learn it
