The BBC were in a no win situation against Ant & Dec. They had to try something, but it was doomed to fail. It was purely a matter of waiting for them to leave and SM:tv to go down the toilet, but nobody knew how long that would take. It's strange how quickly times change though, here they were discussing the importance of the Saturday kids' magazine format, yet within only a few years both the BBC and ITV abandoned it. Multi channels and the internet make it a lot harder for such shows to gain attention nowadays, but if they were willing to spend decent money on it and really commit to developing a good show, I can't see why it wouldn't attract the same kind of figures.

But they didn't win, and they had to end the program. :(

Well they didn't have to, it was all down to Nigel Pickard who shouldn't have been hired by the BBC in the first place, besides it just a live weekly show similar to This Morning on ITV, I just don't understand why the BBC and ITV had to fight for higher ratings.

The show became cringe dumpster fire in the final two seasons after Zoe and Jamie left
