Thank you! I catch myself watching a piece of cloth hanging in my neighbor's yard in order to check the wind. Several times a day. I am five days in my manual mode journey. I was very impressed by the thing you can do in the simulator. I have like 40 hours in it, but stick to low speed and hitting holes low ground :).
Good account mate. I'm at the beginning of the FPV journey too but you are smashing it (figuratively speaking). No idea where to start. Got DRL and Uncrashed and 10 hours on the Sim. Trying to decide on whether to go 3' or 5' and freestyle or cinewoop. Build or buy built. Subscribing and following your journey. You deserve way more than 80 subs.
just gor a tx16 but im into fixed wings and cant wait to put fpv system on board . but im definitely going to learn drone flights on a sim too this looks fun
Have you heard of the 03 air unit I don't have a digital but that is one of the best digital options it is expensive though and I agree DJI prices suck
For 10 days practice that's crazy impressive man. Hitting inverted yaws and trippy spins like that. They took me a lot longer than 10 days let me tell you 😂 Great stuff, keep it up!
Hey Ty! Thanks for the content!! You just got a new sub! What whoop or fpvDrone you would recommend for start ? I've no idea how to build or fix a drone by myself, I will have to learn that as well. I basically JUST have the Radiomaster Boxer and I've been practicing with the Simulator. But I really want to get a drone before Xmas!
Now that you got the FPV skills developed, try any video game with aircrafts... jump into Battlefield and fly a jet.... sh!t is so damn different. It'll blow your mind lol. You're kill'n bro. Keep at it. Stay up ✌️
Bro that used to be my favorite thing to do in battlefield lol Hopefully they actually start trying to make the series good again. I’d definitely hop back on it. Thank you for watching my man
It’s a pretty cool drone to fly and the ECO motors are ok. But out of the 4 drones I have I’d tell anyone to get the Nazgûl. It’s so powerful man haha In my opinion the Nazgûl is way more fun to fly.
Some footage is the Dji O3 and some the Dji action 2. The first clip is the Action 2 with a ND8 filter and the B roll clips mid video are the Dji O3 with an ND 4 filter.
@@Belly_FPV that’s really not true at all, especially if you fly every single day, multiple packs a day (and I can’t remember if this is in the video, but simulators can also help how fast you learn)
Nope lol I recorded everyday with Nvidia Geforce and took clips directly from it doing racing mode only, which is the fastest way to learn. You truly underestimate how determined I am/was. You can learn anything if you sit there with a timer and no distractions. Try it!
Okay. Your a legit fpv pilot. You saud every thing pretty much spot on. If i may add, your always gunna suck, not you specifically but as a pilot, youll never be happy with your skill level, your always gunna strive to get better and look back even 30 days and say, i sucked then.
For anyone watching wanting to get into drones without a simulator. Buy a cheap analog 2s whoop (better flight time) and some cheap analog googles. Just flying them in your house or backyard and beat the absolute crap out of it. You will eventually break and have to fix it. Get a good controller right off the bat. You will learn to fly and fix your tiny cheap drone. Eventually you will be better pilot, get a 3 inch. I dont understand all the new people going with a 5 inch, they're crazy fast, and need a large area to fly. I fly smaller drones more, because I can sit on my recliner and bash around the house or backyard.
Darwin baby ape V2 is a great first choice after the 2S whoop to add to your comment. I’m flying a Nazgul 6s now but still fly my baby ape all the time.
@@Amajor10 I have an hdzero baby ape v2 I absolutely love. It has been super solid little drone. My first drone was a v1 4s nazgul. It was to fast to learn on in my small backyard.
i do enjoy being able to fly my two incher more places, especially in my backyard, but my urge to fly isn't satisfied until i fly my 5 incher. .. 3 inchers now adays are just as fast and capable as 5 inchers (manta 3.6), but 5 inches is King of performance and once you get a taste its less enjoyable to fly anything else! I learned on the Dji Fpv and that had 5 inch blades and a 6s battery so it seemed like a natural transition, and it was.
Yeap I did exactly as you did, even got the same speedybee master 5 v2 to start. The one thing that I'll add it's how Fcking inversive it is. I mean you get the feel for it on the sim, but when you put those goggles on you're on a complete new level. Adrenaline rushes, motion sickness, week knees 😅😅😅😅😅 But what I've been learning is that you need to fly as much as possible.
There’s no way you flew like that after 10 hours in the sim. That footage was of someone who had no idea how to control the drone. You should have a pretty good grasp of the controls after half that time.
LOL Nah that was absolutely me being trash. In fact, a big reason why I was crashing straight into the ground was because I learned with my controls inverted (Down = Pitch forward) I actually had to setup my radio to reflect how I had learned. However, I didn't understand what was going on at first.
It's so refreshing to hear someone freely cursing on TH-cam again, thanks Ty :)

4:00 You did the right thing there. This hobby is all about building and tinkering to make the drone/quad you want to fly
Loving your content man keep it up
Thank you !

Go 5"
@@TyDoesTech Agreed but laws in this country are bone. Can get away with a 3'" sub 250g but not a 5"'.
Super awesome video, it would be nice to hear about exactly why you chose the drone you did.
Thank you! I'll definitely put on the list of things to touch on in a future video!
You were rippin for 10 days. Cool video man.
Thank you !
@@TyDoesTech you’re welcome
3:38 - I saw the prices and said f*ck that (for DJI products).

I love the O3!
Great video. Your hooked once the goggles go on. Very well put. Happy flying 😁
Just wondering, what is your click through rate? I also just started and you content is very good, am looking for what I have to aim for. 👍
Thank you man! And tbh I don’t know lol I’d have to check
🤣np
Amazing Content! Keep it up...
Love it!
Great video! And you are ripping it up for how short of a time you have been flying!
Thank you! That means a lot!
yeah I've only been doing it for a few days cant wait to see your progress too! :D
Slowly but surely!
Thanks for this video!
No problem!! Thank you for Watching!
On the path to getting in the air got about 30hrs in the sim waiting on a controller and drone dope vid 💪🏾
pretty good video and definitely some flowers lying for only flying for for a little bit of time. love to see other brothers flying
