Does it need any other mods to work? Downloaded and put it in my mod folder, but none of the equipment showed up and some things stopped working.

Hey Invictus,
The reason you are surviving more in my Real Tactical mod is because the AI's accuracy is very poor at close range. Most of their bullets are only grazing you or hitting your body armor, arms, or legs.
It allows for more dynamic gameplay and making sure your teammates swap out with you more in firefights.

@bondi9mmgaming304 yes, I get that can it be a little confusing using my mod pack.
I simulate a difficulty system, so if you want longer firefights, I would recommend playing Singleplayer Tactical on Easy with the Swat AI.

i cant wait till this comes out. my main problem with the outfits and stuff in game is that barely anything says "police" or "SWAT" on it.

I need this mod so bad, because I like to play ready or not as a patrol officer already because it makes it more challenging not having all the fancy swat stuff
But its immersion breaking, a Patrol officer wouldnt be doing any of this or have the training.
How can I play this?
@@SagaciousNihilist Based on what exactly? Regular Officers are the ones who respond to active shooters like the college and the hospital gameplay shown here.

Dude, I've never realized how little trigger discipline the characters have. Dude, was stacked up with his finger on the trigger. For those not in the know, just as an FYI, you don't finger the trigger in the stack because with all the nervous energy you could accidentally fire, potentially shooting your team members/mate. I know, small details but who knows it could save your life one day. That aside, Ready or Not is an awesome game. I'm very happy with my purchase.

the low ready with pistol is not really a low ready, a more close ready position (10:31) and not that easy to see, if it's a low ready or just a pinned weapon
and other player can see if I Aim Down sight or have the weapon canted, never thought about that, nice Detail (20:32)
I wish we had the option to swap between low ready and high ready depending on primary or secondary.
@OfficialInvictus I know I'm late, but you'll do high ready in a stack. You can also change between low/high ready in settings.

Me and my friends used to play this as a game mode, without the cool skins though.
I was so happy when I downloaded the first one before it got takedown, but then the game updated. I’m happy they are releasing a new version.
I hate how every mission gets harder only becuase the bots can shoot u through walls with pinpoint accuracy and can see u peep a wall corner across the whole map and drop u with a headshot.

Can someone clarify? This police officer mod does not replace every uniform and appearance, right? It only allows you to have the ability to act as an officer?

In the equipment menu you can click on headgear under the last item called "tactical equipment" and select "no helmet". This is the point in the equipment menu where you can also equip the night vision goggles, gas mask, etc.
Like Prophet said. Don't worry, even if your teammates see your helmet in the lobby, they won't see it during the mission

LAPD doesn't allow outer vests. They make everything mandatory for their belt. They also only allow the FN 509 MRD-Le for their patrol officers. ALSO do away with the mic cord, they only allow their officers to use the radio itself and no lapel mic.
Metropolitan Division officers are authorized to wear plate carriers and mic receivers.

@@WHODEYFAN25 not necessarily wack. Most mods dont work ANYMORE because of the 1.0 update. Its not the developers task to maintain mod compatibility for all mods through updates. Even if they wanted to, they probably couldnt. Its the mod developers task - if they want to - to update their mod accordingly.
@@reallynotgood1063 Its wack for me because I can't play maps I love lol. The mod developers should come out with updated versions that are compatible. Hopefully they're working on that now.
@@WHODEYFAN25 Well true it is kinda wack if you wanna play the mod, but after all wether to update a mod or to discontinue it is the mod developers decision.
The error that pains me in every game with gun belts: they either model them with a handgun holstered at all times, or not at all. I've only ever seen one that had an animation where it showed if the gun was holstered or not. That would take the realism to a new level. That and magazines slowly disappearing from your kit as you run through them.
It's almost always because the cost to benefit ratio is so skewed on details like that, they just can't be justified. They'd have to change every vest model, to remove any static magazines, then have dynamic add-on models for _every magazine type in the game_. They'd have to cap your loadout to however many magazines that vest could realistically hold, meaning now your _aesthetic_ choice of vest has a serious _gameplay_ implication. All so 1 person in 100 could notice it and go "oh, neat!"
See the issue? You end up down a rabbit hole where every facet of the game is a huge engineering and art cost without adding any actual value to the game.

BC the mod requires to have another pistol as secondary, and thats what the game bases the holster on

Why would Ready Or Not remove the restart option, its so annoying having to load into the police station to then load back into the mission every time.

Instant gaming is a scam according to many people so if you are planning on buying a game well be safe when you do it
well this is stupid and doesnt make any sense, if youre with the sheriffs department, you're not swat team.
You should be knocking and and calling out that you have a warrent for the arrest, not actively and tactically clearing rooms with flashbangs, that's not their job. Wrong role dev mods lol.
obviously yes im nitpicking. i know i know, but if youre gonna change the role (appearance) that much...at least give the officers megaphones and the ability to knock. 😆

RoN is about tactik, working with system with you mates, and not about magdump everything.
Have you actually played the game? In a lot of situations it is not possivle to force a surrender and also live through it, if you dont run only the beanbags. And additionaly I think he might have AI Mods that make it harder still. But Im sure you manage to not kill anyone ever in this game, just like police in real life. Let people enjoy games the way THEY like.
