15:12... This could be my ignorance here, but it looked like his tires were aired down so low that they were just deforming over the rock edge inside of biting it. Petting it. Making out with it. Copping a feel. But gunning it forward caused the soft tires to hit the rock edge and compress enough that finally there was firm enough pressure so that the tire wouldn't just deform over the obstacle anymore, but rather grab ahold of it. Amirite?
Or is that little cliff just so vertical and slick, and the rig so heavy, that tires are bound to slip sometimes? Because it seemed like even guys who weren't aired down nearly as low struggled with that one a bit.
It scared me watching y'all gun it up that series of cliffs. Kept thinking I was gonna hear something go "ba-thunk"!

Golden Spike trail takes about 10 - 12 hours we've found...a lot of us tend to get burned, but it's all part of the experience!
right but seriously he was the exact color of his Hummer!!
It's actually a combination: 1) he was sun burned so his face was more red than usual, 2) because he was red when we color graded the footage it brought out the red in everything including him.

So did you all never get back together for another Moab run after 2016? We miss the whole gang! I was dreaming about getting my own Alpha and rolling with y'all sometime...
No, after I filmed and cut it back in the day it just didn't make sense to film it again as it's been done before many times. I will take my own truck to do it for the sake of doing it for sure, but I also wanted to start changing up the format, cinematography, do more story-based, single truck, with some comedic value from time to time. MADuraMAX is the first step. Another one is in pre-production, and then we have some actual stories with some interesting characters (owners, drivers) that's just waiting for me to take a trip and film it.
