You are just a year ahead of my timeline. I also have a 2012 Veloster and driven it to hell. it just drove me across the country to my new home and it's on it's last leg as my daily driver. Time to give it new life.

Shadtree Street Cars have you ever had the rod bearing issue? I have the same car but with the DCT transmission and my car keeps going into Limp Mode every time the car goes over 3,000 RPM’s.. it’s code P1326 and I also got a Catalytic Converter code one time also. I tried getting Hyundai to help me with the motor since we are the second owners and the original owners never did the recall back in 2015 for the rod bearing issue but Hyundai wouldn’t help us. Said that the car has to many miles. My dad bought the car from a guy who got it at a auction and he claims he didn’t know about the rod bearing problem. I did take it to a Hyundai dealership and have the Anti Theft update and the assistant manager said that we needed a new motor. Now we’re out $7,000 and don’t know what to do. If you can help with any ideas, IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

No seatbelt removal -.-
I show it in a more recent video. But there's 1 bolt on the bottom of the seatbelt next to the door frame, one bolt at the pivot point up top and 3 bolts behind the interior trim panel.
